They are a phenomenal live band. I have seen them 4 times here in Dallas and was blown away each time. They always wear a themed costume for each new album release and tour. I got to meet them after a show. I bought their tshirt and the girl handed me a ticket and was told because I bought merch I got a free meet and greet and autograph session after the show. They were so genuinely happy to see us and meet everyone. Great people!!!!!

In case you haven't found a translation yet: Veneficium is Latin and translates to "intoxication" or "poisoning" etc.

I had that picture of Cristina on my collage board, takes me back to my mid teen thirsty days 😅
Lacuna Coil are still one of my favourite bands though, love those guys.
They are putting out their best work after all these years, I'm so proud of them.

Not only are Lacuna Coil great musicians but they are lovely people. I have hung out with them after their shows and they are super nice. A cool moment for me was watching them open for Rob Zombie and then having beers after their set while we watched Rob Zombie do his set. If you want live stuff they released a killer DVD called the 1:19 Show celebrating their 20 year anniversary as a band.

I've seen them live. This recording doesn't do her voice justice. Excellent live show.

Oh man, that brings back memories! The sound, Cristina's voice, just everything....
I still have the albums 'Comalies' and 'Karmacode' in my cupboard and should maybe give my neighbours a good blast with them. It's been way too long. 😈🤘

This is my favourite song, and I listen to a lot of genres of music. Cristina Scabbia's voice is amazing. There are a lot of women in metal that I love, but only Cristina has enough voice to do this song and make it sound great. She's the GOAT.
Shout out to Andrea, as well. He's damn good in his own right, but when you're on the same stage with Cristina, you have to accept that you're the backup vocals.

As you surmised, this came from a streaming show they did... sometime in 2020 (the time all runs together for me - I can't for the life of me remember even what month this was). Anyway, it was really fun, and a great show as far as streaming shows go, since they were all together on a stage, just performing for an audience of cameras. I've seen them a bunch of times live and they always put on kick-ass concerts. Hopefully they'll be able to tour again later this year and we'll all be able to see them in concert!

Yessssssssss Finally!!!!!! by the way my name is Ray. This song doesn't have an official video here is the lyrics version czcams.com/video/V2AY-p6uyx4/video.html . The beginning and ending chant is Latin and if you notice
Andrea Ferro the male singer has gotten better in growling it shows in this one and "Reckless" I have loved Lacuna Coil for years myself. One thing with them is they evolve with the times in the early albums you hear their sound with her singing as well as him not as hard metal or growling as in this album. I love the way they adapt to the times they are in. In my opinion I here a mix in the style of a bit of Jinjer growling and fast paced drums with a hint of Within Temptation and Nightwish making it more apocalyptic in the fullness of the song. Thank you for reacting to this song I'll leave a link for you next time some people don't like that so I don't. Another one on this album that sounds more of their true nature is Lacuna Coil - Save Me czcams.com/video/_mTud9BQcF0/video.html

Hello there! Yes, this was a livestream (from the Alcatraz, in Milan I believe) they did on September 11, 2020. I'd like to see a reaction to "Blood, Tears, Dust - The 119 Show - Live In London". It's fantastic!

Your intro conversation had me intrigued before the song started. *BLUSH* You may not have been convicted for any felonies, but you kill these reactions every time. I *might* even watch if you did a barney or teletubbies reaction. (Dear god, Barney was like benadryl for my son, murder on my sex life... i've said too much...)

I met Christina Scabbia at a show in Dallas with Lacuna Coil playing with Opeth and Meshuggah and she was really nice and approachable, she was shorter than I imagined her being about 5’2 or so an she sounded amazing on stage.

Hey Guys. Women in Metal is truly something beautiful to behold, and I think there are some women that are even more powerful than some men in the scene. I think 1 such band with a leading lady, is In This Moment, and Maria is a Truly Powerful Voice, and they are fucking weird which makes them even better in my opinion. A good place to start with them would be 'Beautiful Tragedy" czcams.com/video/khairmZadHg/video.html and Maybe even "Big Bad Wolf" czcams.com/video/j-qQ_brIsfY/video.html as something that shows they go different paths with their songs. Much Love as Always

Harry and Shar, if you'd like to dabble in some non-metal vibes to appease Sharlene's former lack of interest, I recommend Rising Appalachia, Larkin Poe, Nahko, Lindsey Stirling, puscifer, and one that IS metal/rock but many other genres simultaneously - twelve foot ninja
