- This way of eating is great for focus and productivity. It's not so great for muscle gain or bulking. After doing this, I've decided I'm going to eat some scrambled eggs (preferably after I do some work) so that I don't lost any muscle. The reason I got lean was because I was unintentionally in a slight calorie deficit, and because I've been eating really healthy.

Look, If your in school and have a lot of tests then eat breakfast! It gives you energy im not kidding just eat the right stuff.
You are meant to have energy when you wake up, fasting will enhance your focus for the tests.
Instead of having breakfast, do a little stretch, take a cold shower, do 50 pushups and get at it

The reason they pushed this 3 meals a day things on us is because corporation benefit from it. The more meals we eat, the more food we have to buy and the more money corporations make. Also by getting us to eat all these unhealthy sugary food, the more likely we need to see doctors and need to take medications, which means more money for corporations.
Same thing with tech companies. Just do what I do and buy used tech, it’s not worth spending $1,500 on something you’re only gonna use for a year.
Look, I'm not telling you to skip breakfast. I'm just telling you what I've done. Your main takeaway should be to not eat big meals in the morning and to DEFINITELY not eat a bunch of processed, sugary carbs. I'm going to start eating breakfast again, but what I would recommend for you is to just get protein in in the morning if you're optimizing for focus. 4-5 scrambled eggs is literally the best breakfast there is. You could also pair that with some protein as well like chicken or beef. If you're an athlete, don't follow this advice. This is for increased focus. Carbs crash is real bro it will tank your focus so just be aware.
normally i take your videos to heart but i cant really do this one. i get headaches, i begin to shake, and i become irritable if i dont have breakfast. i guess its more of a person to person basis. (i agree with what you said about diets, though. since ive been eating more vegetables and protein in my diet, i feel more energetic throughout the day.)

u begin shaking without breakfast cause your so used to living everyday of your life WITH breakfast..... the benefits coming with breakfast DOES NOT vary from person to person, jus get used to the irritation and thus it will go and you will begin experiencing benefits and the irritation ur talking bout will also fade as you get used it.. so please dont WIMP about this this has scientifically proven to improve focus go watch andrew huberman.... whether u take action or not is ur choice but dont comment about it influencing other people not to take action...anyways i have no hate towards you so dont trash talk me here haha have a great life stranger😄
a note for the girls interested in intermittent fasting: look into how the menstrual cycle works alongside fasting bc it makes a huge difference!! some days may seem harder to fast and some days can be easier so definitely do some research to maximize those benefits 🤗

The scientific reason why some people feel bad after not eating breakfast is that when you don’t eat the whole night, your body uses sugars to produce energy. Your blood sugar drops, and you get headaches, feel weak, and dizzy. Sugar comes up to a normal level as soon as you digest food.
I've done this as well and I've found it makes a really big difference for me in terms of focus and productivity. I've also talked to other people who said when they wake up they're just so hungry that it's hard to focus, so just do what works best for you.

Oats with just water? In the past they used to feed animals with that sh*t, bro. Next time mix them with good white cheese, half spoon butter and 1-2 spoons sugar and your body will thank you. The rule of 3 meals a day and breakfast being most important meal is from the times when people had a lot more physical activity and needed more calories. Nowadays, most people eat late, go to bed late and in the morning they don't feel hungry, and during the day they sit all day at the computer and spend almost no energy, if they eat 3 times a day, they will gain weight even faster.

@@noobychoco454Oh, I eat around 10 eggs every week regularly and some vegetables too, but since my work is related to heavy use of my brain, I need carbs too. I used to eat every morning oats when I was younger, but now only few times a year.
There's just nothing wrong with a bit of carbs in the morning, thinking some oats is somehow gunna make me less productive is insane
What I didn't mention is that carbs mainly affect focus due to insulin spiking. It's more severe when you eat processed and refined carbs/sugar, but it also happens more severely when you eat a lot of carbs. It's that so called "sugar crash". It's like when people say going on their phone before bed doesn't affect their sleep. It does, but they don't feel the affects much. The fact is, it's making you less productive. Being fasted in the morning will promote productivity the most. And in my opinion, trading out the carbs for protein (trading out the oats for eggs/meat) is the way to go.
