On a poem by William Blake (1757-1827)
I dreamt a dream! What can it mean?
And that I was a maiden Queen
Guarded by an Angel mild:
Witless woe was ne’er beguiled!
And I wept both night and day,
And he wiped my tears away;
And I wept both day and night,
And hid from him my heart’s delight.
So he took his wings, and fled;
Then the morn blushed rosy red.
I dried my tears, and armed my fears
With ten thousand shields and spears.
Soon my Angel came again;
I was armed, he came in vain;
For the time of youth was fled,
And grey hairs were on my head.

Singing this song with our high school choir currently, sounds pretty cool!
this is my favorite choral piece of all time ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Matthew what a gift that you have. Your voices can sing so pure and it's so clear. I can honestly say many of us thank you. Purity that is so pure, that's your voice Matthew.
fantastico
Beutiful song sir
Another stunning composition. I first performed a piece of yours in high school with the state choir, and I've been a fan ever since.
However, whenever I recommend someone your compositions, I have no idea how to pronounce your name... mind setting the record straight?
Ah Ah Ah, that's funny, Elijah! Try to pronounce my name this way: "EEVO ANTOÑEENEE" . Thank you for being a fan of mine.
