I can't display large images i have inserted using the java app but it is possible to insert using the sqlite directly and is diplayed in the java application why can't we insert using the Java app please help!!!

Hello Sir.I am using MySQL database to upload and retrieve image,i can enter the image in the data base and display it in an image icon but the icon is not getting refreshed as null pointer exception is coming,The image format is png .I cant also display the image in iReport,which I use for reporting..can u please shed some light on the problem and also a video to display image in i report using netbeans will be greatly appreciable.

I have the same problem, with the CREATE query i have none problem, but i don't know how update the registers (: help us please
TINYBLOB: maximum length of 255 byte
BLOB: maximum length of 65,535 bytes
MEDIUMBLOB: maximum length of 16,777,215 bytes
LONGBLOB: maximum length of 4,294,967,295 bytes
According to this we can use bigger size of images in the database.

Hey I did the same thing but it does not show the image in the label but their are no Exceptions. I used a .png file. I`m using MySql Administrator to handle the database is it causing the problem ? Please HELP

u must verify the type of "buf" (byte[]) not (Byte[]) probably this is your error
