      Groundwork, and lots of it! Maybe try join up, there are lots of videos on that.

      If he wants to do what he wants put him in a circle if you’re on him reins to knees but don’t yank on the reins if he continues or backs up then make it his idea and make him back up horses are lazy animals and they would want to do less work
