Well done, I had no problem hearing you probably because I listened and the safety check was well done as well. You can rest assured that its dang if you do and dang if you don’t. I enjoy the video for what it was. Again, well done
You make it look sooo easy! I have a two-tone Defender and LOVE shooting it. I hate cleaning it since for me, it's so hard to put back together. I'll give your "up and back" method a try. Thank you for the informative video.
Try CZcams video on changing out recoil spring with a Kimber assembly. I did. Could not be more pleased with the results. To prove a point disassembled and reassembled wearing a blindfold.
I bought one of these about two years ago or so. Disassembly is easy. Reassembly, on the other hand, is a little more sporting. Initially, the slide stop would not simply pop into place. The plunger spring and slide stop fitment were just too tight to make this easy. But after a couple of years of use that problem went away.
Are you doing the whole make sure it's empty sane because you're trying to educate people or are you doing that because you don't want somebody in the comments to tell you that you should have done that? Because if it's at your house you should have done that already before the video I would think so is it pure pressure towards you or are you peer pressuring others? Because that is a whole bunch of assumption if you're assuming that every person that may come across this video is a super duper ignorant person that has no idea about gun safety whatsoever these kinds of things just irks my nerves but I can understand if you want to do that just to impart to somebody hey you should get in a routine of doing this for this and that reason but if you're doing it so someone else doesn't say something to you that is pitiful just so you know somebody has to tell you you shouldn't worry about what other people have to say about you

Beautiful firearm! ❤
I think that method will work good for you. I was pleasantly surprised how much more fun it made cleaning and shooting this weapon
Nice table

Great video, right to the point. Helped me out!
excellent show.keep it up the goodness.thanks for your good work.
Good safety procedures!
Excellent walk through on take down especially what is linning up with what. Did you change out the recoil spring for the Kimber recoil spring?
hows the slide to frame and how does the tightness hold up with aluminum frame
With the full length rail s on a 1911 wear is not an issue.
Did you have any issues with this gun when you shot it?
When you function check, you should be holding the trigger down then rack it again , reset and pull again
I HAVE A COLT NEW AGENT WHICH I LOVE. POINT AND SHOOT. WHY DID THEY DISCONTINUE IT??
Not sure. Only thing I've ever seen was the Defender hurt its sales a lot.
I forgot, does the defender have a compact grip or a full length grip?
It's a compact grip compared to a standard 1911. not nearly as short as say a Glock 26 though. More like a Glock 19, but fuller in your hand.
@@dadandcavin214 thanks, I bought the ria ultra tactical cs 45 instead, I made the right decision. Thanks again.
You have a volume issue. Much too low
As my Company Commander would say: "I'm not raising my voice, turn up your hearing !" ☆

Convoluted, but you did manage to get most of it off your chest, i reckon ...
