Like many quilters I too have doilies from Grandma R. I am presently making a French Nosegay Quilt and was thinking of using the small doilies as flowers in the trellises around the nosegay. When I asked my quilt group for anyone who may have doilies I got ten doilies right away. Future quilt coming along.

I loved watching this video. I have doilies from my great-grandmother and grandmother. I'd like to combine the 2 and see what I can come up with. One of my cousins has all the doilies of our grandmother's. I'd like to make a wall hanging for all the cousins still alive, as well as one for the little museum in the town I grew up in. She lived in the town almost her entire life.

I don't have any vintage linens. I do have a few doilies and a crocheted table cloth that I made myself.
