Why does it come with 2 different style rims
Would this be good to haul a 25hp compact tractor regularly; would the gate handle that on a somewhat regular basis or should I look for a heavier gate model?

does surtrac make a 18ft dove tail still? and what trailer is better vs this and lamar for gate latch system for commercial mowers?
We don't see Sure-Trac's with dovetails very often... Either style works well for commercial landscapers. I like the Sure-Trac latch system personally.
A dovetail is available by special order. Different trailers altogether. Lamar is built with a channel frame, which is beefier, but also puts the deck height at the top of a 4" channel instead of the bottom of the angle iron, raising the deck height by about 2.5". Similar gates, charcoal vs. black, Lamar has a cast coupler/swivel jack instead of stamped with a set back jack, teardrop vs. treadplate fenders, angle iron vs. tube top rails. Both should make a decent unit for that application.
