      @@overseasstudentsaustralia Thanks for the response. My suspicion is that this is the second post study visit you can apply to after completing the first post graduate visa. Therefore, age will apply in the first instance and then if you graduated from a regional visa, you may be eligible for the second post graduate study visa, so an extra 2 years. I could be wrong, these things can be confusing! Cheers.

      Correct I live some 2 universities and the amount of o.s students occupying housing and are only here to try stay is ridiculous. They change courses even as there's some kind of loop hole. The housing crisis is due to universities taking too many o.s students for money. The other annoying factor is how they cause accidents and try run off. They take no responsibility for their actions or or road laws. This is not India obay our laws or stay in India.

      Why should we pick Australia to study? where the education is subpar and more expensive?
      If international students have the plan to study abroad and go back to their home country after education, Picking UK or Malaysia is 10 times better. UK's tuition fees are half the cost of Australia, and Malaysia is 1/4th and offers UK and Australian degrees (Nottingham UK, Monash AU Malaysian Campus).
      What are you suggesting will destroy the economy of Australia as Education is the 4th largest export for Australia.

      @@tazoman26 international education in Australia is a scam. It's not the 4th largest 'export' sector - that's nonsense put out by the University industry. Most students that come here need to work to survive as Australia is very expensive. By all means come and study here but go home as soon as you're finished - or go to the UK instead. Our university sector would not collapse, it would just be much smaller. There should be no work rights for international graduates - and at the next election this will become a huge issue because people (voters) are pissed off.

    • @ben0nib0y
      @ben0nib0y Před měsícem +2

      @@tazoman26 nonsense - that's another vested interest report. 600k international students are having a huge impact on the property sector, and that's affecting our people being able to find accommodation - especially young people. We should have international students here but only 100k, not 600-700k and they should have no postgraduate work rights. Study and go home. Everyone would be a winner.
