  • Aviation enthusiast and filmmaker, Paul Carpenter captures the character and spirit of a 1943 Tiger Moth affectionately known as “Goosy”.
This lovingly restored vintage De Havilland biplane was French-registered during the final years of WWII when it served as an RAF primary trainer. Following a change of ownership it was transferred to England, registered G-OOSY and restored to its full former glory in distinctive RAF camouflage.

We love this wonderfully filmed tribute to this classic aircraft. Well done Paul Carpenter. We have a DH 82 Tiger Moth on display at the RAF Museum - Cosford

Wrong place for it. It should be flying.

This brings back memories in my later years. I owned a Tiger many years ago. Serial no. PG676. She was an outstanding airplane! I just wish I could have afforded to keep her!

A lovely little tribute, well produced, informative and interesting. It brought back memories of my flight in an old moth at Headcorn airfield in Kent in 1996. It was a surprise gift for me from my wife. 👍🇦🇺

Thanks for commenting. Headcorn and Duxford are by far the best places to go for vintage flying experiences, in my opinion. Glad you enjoyed it!

This is a beautifully produced video of a very beautiful aeroplane. Thank you for the inspiration!

I used to gauge my approach speed by the singing of the flying wires! They would actually hum when your speed was right!

I remember it well from when I used to fly in these biplanes - they seem to speak to you. There's nothing quite like the open cockpit experience.

That Gipsy Major sound is recognisable long before you can see the aircraft. Actually the construction wasn't any more advanced than the Sopwith Camel and SE5
