I would like to introduce a little trivia about Demon Slayer.
The name of Kyohjyuuroh Rengoku's Kasugai crow is "Kaname" and the voice actor is Susumu Chiba.
Muichiroh Tokitoh's crow's name is "Ginko", who is an overbearing crow who dotes on Muichiroh and doesn't get along well with other crows.The voice actor is Rie Kugimiya, the queen of Moe Moe Tsunderes.
Mitsuri Kanroji's Kasugai crow's name is "Urara'', which the voice actor is the eternal 17-year-old Yui Horie.
GiyuuTomioka's Kasugai crow's name is "Kanzaburoh'' of Grandpa. Voice actor unknown.
The name of Tengen's Kasugai crow is Nijimaru.
Like Tengen, he loves flashy things. So he is called the ”DATE OTOKO” of the crow world. ("Date Otoko" is synonymous of loves showy things person in Japan)

Oh Trust me when I say that you will not dislike any hashira after the story is complete. Think about how Tengen started out as this I don't care guy! but then you quickly find out that He does care A LOT!

the reason gyomei is always crying is because that's his "shtick". there is no real reason. I think the author once said he's just "sensitive". that's about it. they will probably not address it in the show.
also the reason he has no pupils is because he is blind, in anime they usually remove character's pupils to symbolize blindness. that's also probably not going to be addressed in the show, the author disclosed this piece of info in some fanbook where he provided all sort of miscellaneous information. (they might share that in one of those end of episodes bits after the ending song)
