Pro tip when playing as the medic, in the picture above them when they are wounded, it will show a certain tool, select the tool shown in the image. Helping up enemy soldiers will take them prisoner if you chose to do so, its pretty fun taking prisoners in my opinion. The other seat on artillery cannons lets you actually move the artillery gun, if thee is a bot in the seat, you don't need to go to that seat to turn the gun, just use the left joystick on the gunner seat to turn the gun itself if there is a bot in the other seat. The in game tutorials can be helpful as well. The realistic difficulty is better in my opinion.

This game can be easily the enemy of hell let loose. It’s like red orchestra with much more things. Just think as a captain you can give orders, as a radioman you have to give right coordinates for artillery supports etc etc. I love this game, seriously, before knowing this I was always on enlisted but now I cannot play enlisted ahahaha

This is exactly what I've wanted so desperately for so long: a large-scale war sim like Battlefield, Hell Let Loose...that's playable offline against bots like Star Wars: Battlefront.
I have seen the video publisher commenting that Easy Red 2 still requires an internet connection currently, but that the game's developer is aware of this and working to make the game playable offline very soon. I'm looking forward to that!

Just change the plane controls and you are golden. This game and the amount of “unused” vehicles and weapons you can use is amazing.
Worth every penny spend, even dlc. When you then count the things you can do to make your own maps and missions and you have a, albeit fiddly, amazing game with endless replay ability.
This is a great indie war sim... solo dev, always updating and working on it, glad you covered it! Worth a look for sure
Quick update, I bought this today, one of the best WW2 shooters I've played in years, a love letter of Medal of Honor and Battlefield 1942. Can't thank you enough for sharing this video, also, play it on realistic with the HUD off, it's terrifying.
Does the map editor work for you on Xbox? It never lets me save a map I make

This little game is an absolute love letter to wwii and the wwii games of the xbox 360/ps2 generation. It's so fun, and incredibly cheap. It also has more content than some AAA games, i absolutely love Easy Red 2.

i absolutely love small details like this, yes it is just an aesthetic touch and contributes nothing to gameplay, but at around 7:15 mark when he reloads, the character flips the mag to the correct position, then inserts it, small things like this make these kind of indie games a gem, take note 'AAA' games, you have a lot to learn... btw Sky, you earned a sub my man, i never heard of this game, and always wanted something like this on xbox, thank you so much for making this video :)

I have clocked in over 28 hours on steam for this game. I really like the dev as he added a feature i asked for (being able to use mouse when using a controller, useful for steam deck and ps controllers).
The dev should look at arma and the game master mode in arma reforger, hell let loose, operation flashpoint and insurgency, rainbow six vegas games for inspiration

Thanks for upload! So there is M&KB Support like you mentioned, but what you didn't mention or I missed it? So if you play with Pad you are in huge disadvantage, right? Or is there some huge autoaim to compensate that? Or something else, what? M&KB vs Gamepad is usually not ok in FPS game.
Also sky you can order your troops when you are a squad leader and you can also call in artillery barrages when you have a radio man alive in your squad !
I think I showed the commands menu in here, not the barrages though. I think towards the end there's a little flame action too.

Brief information about the game.
At the beginning of the video it says the game can be played offline, but that's not true. The game does not work without an existing internet connection. However, I brought this to the developer's attention and asked him why the game requires internet. He said that this was a bug that he would like to fix by the end of next week. If you want to buy the game for offline mode, you should wait a little longer until the error is fixed.

However he stated that the new features will not be added for few months since he's overhauling the AI behavior - except the things that don't require coding like new guns or vehicles
Developer said it's been fixed in a patch released yesterday.

One bug that is holding back the editor mode is spawning vehicles with ai in them. Game breaks when you try.
I'm going to be honest, I'm getting a bit BF 1943 vibes from this even though it's more complex, seeing how the servers were shut recently this might be just a great option.

yeah for the most part if you turn your crosshair and hitmarkers off. i play with the HUD off as well.

But in this i doubt you need to walk for miles to get to an objective, have firefights with literal ants/invisible men and when you are close quarters they've got an automatic or semi auto while you have a bolt action.

@@andreaholcock8992 The only kinda skill issue i got is when your sister is dragging me into your house, bounding me with gorilla tape and giving me a forced lapdance and i have got to somehow get one of my hands free, put it down my pants and adjust my trouser snake so she doesn't see me getting hard because your sister was a sultry 18 year old brunette but for some reason each time she kidnaps me I keep failing to conceal my junk and end up spreading her cheeks like the red sea so yeah i suppose you could say i got a skill issue.
Another example alongside palworld and helldivers that the AAA developers are dropping the ball! This is an amazing game for only $12 CAD and I hope it has a long life ahead do it similar to enlisted and war thunder

This game is pretty fun. They really should update the menus they don’t look good or work well. On screen hud and item menus need work too. Everything is there for a great game it’s just design that’s lacking. Also with the lean shooting maybe ease up on gun sway.

Definitely get this before (if) it raises in price because $8 is a steal for this game. DLCs are only $5, but theres only 3, unfortunately. If you're playing on Xbox, you'll need the dlcs to be able to play on more of the larger servers
This is a really fun arcadie game. Like yeah it's not AAA graphics but it is a really fun game

Can this be played single play without Xbox live/offline?
This is currently not possible, even if it is said in the video here. I asked the developer about this and he assured me that this would be fixed with a patch by the end of next week. Then you can play against bots offline without Xbox live
Just bought the game, definitely not disappointed. Can't wait to see where the game ends up for Xbox. I just hope they refine the controller settings. Clearly, the controls were not optimized for console. The dead zone is pretty thick.

Can you play as single player campaign?
Yeah It has bots. You can max the bot count. Play offline (it was mainly intended as a SP game) and online MP (with players and bots) which they are starting to fix up. When my wifi goes down this game is my goto lol

How many bots could be on the Normandy dlc when I played it on max it was not as much as I hoped for vs the pc the carnage was great but a little let down by the Xbox

The DLCs are only 6$ per and honestly it feels like I’m stealing from the company they add so muchhhhhhhh replay to the game especially in Stalingrad the city is a blast to roll through but my personal favorite is the German paratroopers gameplay ❤

Hey guys. I was wondering how similar this game is to Battlefield 1943 or even Battlefield 1942. I ask this because I was recommended this game on a subreddit for i think BF1943. I'm looking for a WW2 first-person shooter to play online that is close to what you might get in one of those aforementioned Battlefield games. And also what about vehicles that can be used online, what types are there available? Thanks for any replies
Was obsessed with BF1942 back in the day, and this game is the closest to ever recapture that magic. All vehicles usable in single player are available online: tanks, planes, jeeps, APCs, tractors, etc.
A battleship taking out a chunk of a building I was using as cover really brought back some battlefield memories

@@zakvondaniken9327 On PC and Switch, sorry. If you're having issues on the XBox One, then I recommend keeping the sliders at default or lower levels I guess.
Its not 60FPS 🤦♀️ There is alot of FPS drops to 30FPS. ( Xbox Series X )

Well this is a video of the game running on Xbox Series X, not Xbox One. So it’s obviously not going to look the same lol. If you want better performance you might want to get a new console. The Xbox One is ancient.

I'm worried about the number of players, unfortunately a multiplayer game can also be beautiful but if there are few players or even none it remains a useless game.
This is mainly a single-player game though
it was never mainly marketed as a multiplayer PvP game

i bought this game on nintendo and it would look like ass and would crash at the end of the mission every time
With current inflation this game is cheap AF.
The ai is horrible, controls are clunky, the UI is dog awful. The graphics suck, the character movement looks worse than ps2 call of duty, and the sound design of most weapons is probably the worst I've ever heard in a game. And it's marketed as a strategy game, but plays like dollar store battlefield.
And I've honestly enjoyed every minute of it. It feels so dated but it's kind of a vibe. Worth every bit of the $8 bucks.

This looks like a PS2 game why not play play Battlefield V, it's way cheaper, better looking and way more content
Bollocks on more content this game has an offline AI mode, more, faction appropriate weapons, more accurate uniforms etc whilst battlefield V is a good game it only beats out easy red 2 due to the graphics
Easy Red 2 is a single player focused game with endless content, way cheaper than Battlefield 5 and has a gameplay looting system similar to fallout.
The ai looks meh...
