I enjoy your videos. I've been learning and practicing a lot.
But here is a question. There is a song from Marshmello- happier that says: " Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier.
    So is the song wrong??
    thank you.

    • @SparkleEnglish

      Hi!
That song is correct. Lately means recently.
When we talk about the adjective "late" (the opposite of on time), we use the adverb late.
Basically, the adverb "lately" is different from the adverb "late."
      Sentence example:
"Lately, I have been arriving late to work."
We are using both adverbs here.

Will you please do a video on common expressions that people often say and write incorrectly? An example is the phrase, "all of a sudden." Somehow this is changing to "all of the sudden", and it's driving me crazy.

Hardly, is an adverb but just that it means scarce; it is usually used before the main verb. E.g She hardly comes here.
