    Super video Brian. Enjoyed seeing the 90 Inserts Binder with all those great players. Really liked the Football Heroes cards, with so many super players. Thanks for sharing more of your fantastic collection.

      Thanks so much Ed! I think Upper Deck had a great thing going with those UD Football Hero cards. They started off with some good ones... Montana, Namath, Payton, and Marino in the first 2 years. Thanks for watching!

    This was another awesome look at your binder of inserts. Man, I wish I had pulled one of those draft redemptions. The only one I think I ever got was Marvin Jones. Those 93 Pro Set cracked ice looking rookies were awesome. I have that Brunell. So much nostalgia. Thanks for sharing!

      Thanks buddy! I really do love this book. It's fun to bust it out and be able to share it with other people who appreciate the cards, like me. Yeah, that cracked ice type look actually goes back quite a ways, right? The Brunell is a sharp looking card for sure. The Packers sure had a lot of good backup QB's behind Favre along the years. Thanks for watching!

  • @tjmacvintagecardsnostalgia648

    Hey Brian! That is a fun binder to go through. Being I was out of the hobby by then I missed the insert boom. Of course, we had 1,000 yard club, stickers and other inserts back in the 80s, but nothing like this. The Upper Deck Redemption and Stat Smashers are my two favorites. Nice Barry and Thurman. Griese making the 25,000 yard club is funny now. That is 6 seasons nowadays 😆. Cool to see Steve Young in a Bucs uniform. Man, you have such an in depth collection from this era. Thanks for sharing.

    • @bearcards3497
      @bearcards3497  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks Terry! I agree, the UD Redemption and Stat Smashers are highlights of the video for sure. I sure miss 1,000 yard club cards. I always thought so highly of any player who had one of those cards. The 90's brough in SO MANY inserts, but I've got to admit, I love them! They made opening packs a little more fun. I was lucky enough to get so many inserts back then - it was literally the ONLY think I spent money on LOL. Plus working at a card shop for a time and getting paid in card packs helped LOL. Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend.

      @@bearcards3497 I agree that the inserts add a different dimension to opening packs. I never thought of the 1,000 yard club in the same way because they were in every pack. I agree about thinking highly of those players. A 1000 yards was a big deal back then. Especially, for a receiver.

    Brian!!! Love seeing some Drew Bledsoe in there. I still think Bledsoe, Parcells, Milloy, Slade, Law, Glenn, Meggett, Curtis Martin, etc.. created the modern day culture of how we vision the patriots. Belichek and TB12 finished building that culture and made it thrive. Enjoyed seeing all these. Thanks for sharing

    • @bearcards3497
      @bearcards3497  Před 2 lety +1

      Sweet Bledsoe cards right?! I love those Upper Deck redemptions. I agree, you just named a lot of GREAT players there - I was a big fan of Bledsoe, and Martin too - he was an awesome RB. I think you forgot the greatest QB named Tom on the Patriots ever: Tom... Hodson! Seriously though, It's amazing how lucky the Patriots have been at the QB spot since Bledsoe arrived. They're sort of the opposite of my Bears LOL. Have a good one!

    Those college connections are some pretty cool cards. I enjoyed successfully calling out during the video which college each group shared in common.

      I agree, the college connections are a sweet insert set. I might try to get them all one of these days. I really like that Bowman Gold Barry card. He has so many good cards from the 90's. Thanks for watching and good luck to your Broncos this weekend! I heard Locket noticed Russ was using the SAME hand signals he used in Seattle, and Lockett went around telling the Seahawks players and calling what he was doing before the play started. If so, that's crazy!
