- Race 1: 2011 ZX10R ( stock with custom pipe, and race fuel) vs 2000 ZX12R A1 (full hindle exhaust, PCIII usb custom tuned, K&N filter, ignition advancer). ZX12R wins all races with about 2 1/2 lengths.
Race 2: ZX12R vs 2000 CBR 929rr (full two brothers exhaust, K&N filter,PCIII usb, ignition advancer, -1 front sprocket) ZX12r wins
Too many people underestimate the 12r

Good info thanks demon, I knew the zx6r had the jumper mod but didn't know the gen4 zx10 did. Will definitely do and repost knew video with results.
Did the ZX-10R have it's ECU reflashed or at least the ECU wire mod? USA Gen 4 ZX-10R's are highly restricted in stock form.
I love my 2000 12R, loved the 05 12R I had (it looks way better imo) but really miss my 05 10R so much. Just love the size and balance but would only trade my 12 straight up for a nice 10.

Flashing the ECU or doing the free wire mod (go to zx-net dot net and click on "The ZX-10R" discussion forum) does more than removing the cat and installing exhaust combined...would have changed the race. Both unlock 15-20max hp and up to 25 hp in some parts of the rev range. DO IT!

Jason Peters depends on your height. 12 is way more comftorable. I have owned both, still have my 12. Im 6ft 220 12 fit me better.

A 12 if you ride long distance as its much more comfortable. But the 10 for maneuvering and a lot more newer technology

Depends who riding, you not running away from me in a corner on my 12r, I raced cresson, basically a track rider up you axx in a corner on the street dropping knees
Nope power less these 1000 is fake, 12r is real deal, but is true they are ligter much but in real traffic that is minus, very light bike is only good on race track ,not on streets 😉

It's not a bike race without corners...
That makes zero sense, you're just riding fast with no purpose. How about it's not a race without a start and a finish line...maybe start at a mile marker and end at one otherwise you're just trying to see who'll give up first.
