- SpaceX Starship, a remarkable creation from the visionary private space exploration company founded by Elon Musk, is an extraordinary feat of engineering that embodies the limitless potential of human ingenuity. The Starship represents a pioneering concept in space travel, providing an advanced, fully reusable transportation system designed to propel both crew and cargo beyond the frontiers of Earth's orbit and enable unparalleled point-to-point travel on our planet.
This awe-inspiring spacecraft comprises two distinct but interdependent components: the powerful Super Heavy booster and the sleek, futuristic Starship spacecraft. The Super Heavy booster serves as the initial thrust mechanism that catapults the Starship spacecraft into orbit, while the Starship spacecraft itself is responsible for carrying both crew and cargo to their intended extraterrestrial destinations.
Fashioned out of the ultra-durable stainless steel, the Starship spacecraft is a masterful creation of technological sophistication that can carry up to 100 people and accommodate a staggering payload capacity of up to 150 metric tons. The spacecraft boasts a bevy of cutting-edge features, including robust engines and state-of-the-art avionics systems that guarantee the utmost safety and precision in the spacecraft's landings on various extraterrestrial surfaces.
SpaceX's relentless commitment to innovation and progress is evident in their extensive testing of the Starship prototype at their launch facility in South Texas. The company envisions a future where the Starship spacecraft serves as a vital tool for humanity's exploration of the Moon and Mars, as well as facilitating commercial point-to-point travel on our planet. With the Starship, SpaceX hopes to expand the horizons of space travel, making it more accessible and affordable for everyone and ushering in a new era of human achievement and exploration.

I am from the future where Starship has now launched for the first time. In reality it goes up, starts cartwheeling, then explodes. It was awesome.
Edit: It launched a second time. This time it went up, got through MECO, separated, then Super Heavy blew up and later Starship blew up. It was, again, awesome.
How did u make the time 1 month ago?
Or u are real?
@@jeremytheo1674 What are you asking? I am unsure what you mean by "How did u make the time 1 month ago?".
Not cool at all you are a time traveler that's awesome to bad you can't prove it! SHOW ME
and in the future do you still eat tacos? if is yes, so the future will be fine already.
Nice work! Extremely realistic - I look forward to this animation becoming a reality really soon…!!! 😊👍🏾
SpaceX said in February that they might launch in March. We'll see what happens.
Been trying to look for the comment that this was computer generated. Looking good tho! Can't wait!!
@@ichigoshippudenjesusisking1783Title say “animation”.
@@Emdee5632 they never said anything abt Mars kid there laughing it to earth orbit
I believe SpaceX is now aiming for April 1st. Again: We'll see what happens.
EDIT: Sometime in April...
The roar when this thing lifts off will be the loudest launch ever heard. The Saturn V’s first flight damn near blew down the press building, which made NASA realize the importance of sound suppression. And this is way more powerful
depends on constructive/destructive interference, sound can eliminate itself apparently.
SLS might be louder. SRBs are *loud*.
I mean, even with sound suppression, SLS was still powerful enough to blow off the doors of the crew access elevator and scorch the grass around the launch pad.
Which is why starship probably won't launch as much. They need they rigs for daily launches.
@@blexxy5861 except they got rid of the two rigs they had. So not in the short term. And you would be wrong about why starship wouldn’t launch as much due to the land stuff.
You forgot to animate the huge explosion when it hits the tower and explodes.
I love the atmospheric sound you added of spectators reacting to the staging, and the first stage landing.
I can’t believe people fall for this bad CGI!!! I’ve lived 44miles from the Space Center for the last 48years and I’ve seen HUNDREDS of launches. This is so bad! Even an old man can pick it out!
@@sonofagunny7760 It's very good CGI, but I doubt many people "fell for it". The video title is "Animation".
@@sonofagunny7760 …no one fell for it, it’s quite literally an animation, it is intentionally CGI

Minor quibble - when your SuperHeavy model is returning, the roll axis is actually off by 90 degrees, the SuperHeavy gets its greatest grid fin effectiveness when the fins are stuck out to the side like an airplane.
Still didn't stop me from shedding a virtual tear at this virtual historic event. Great work!
The newer boosters also have ducting down the sides which is oriented and shaped to provide a fraction more lift during the flight home...
By 45 degrees I guess?
I may also note that it seems the rocket was travelling too slowly during ascent. From what Elon has said and its thrust-to-weight ratio, its acceleration will be surprising.
@@HungryTacoBoy Too slow in decent, too- I reckon we should expect decent to the point of hover to be similar to a Falcon, sonic boom and all. If you've ever been present for such, it is considerably faster than this.
@@mavigogun well, this is an animation and you want to be able to see it.
that's Expectations vs Reality right there, we ended up with a KSP blooper reel
That guy shouting "holy" at 0:28 will probably the guys at Nasa Spaceflight.
It's Tim Dodd... ;)
I don't think you were too far off. Other that the acrobatics and the breaking up of course! 😉
Maybe do the Thor-Nomad; a conceptual launcher for the Mercury capsule using the thor booster and the exotic Nomad upper stage, burning hydrazine and liquid fluorine. Quite a hairy combo, and another reason why it never flew.
We all know the booster is the real star of the show :) I really hope somewhere Elon takes a few minutes to watch this.
Another amazing very realistic video! I was wondering when the next hazegrayart starship video would come out.
Unlike most of the amazing concepts brought to life by this channel, this one will actually fly in a couple of months!
LC-39 will finally have Nova-class rocket it has been waiting for
Westerners have always brought progress to human civilization!!
I think the Starship is meant to rise off the pad faster than this - at Saturn 5 acceleration it will melt half of the cape.
The very best yet. The realism is really something else here. Great work!
The catch is actually the best part. Launches are easy to create, there are so many examples to use, but no one's ever caught a booster. I'll use this to educate my friends on how this will work.
compared to the real launch, this is extremly realistic
Holy cow this is amazing! I saw the starship tower this weekend at the cape and was in awe. Can’t wait for this to become a reality!
Before the arrival of Elon Musk, it was hard to believe that such a rocket could be realized.
Now everything is believable.🚀🌎
I'm sure God is glad to know you finally believe in him "thanks to satan" lmao
You never cease to amaze. I'd put this up there with "Project Super Orion" as your best work.
The voices talking in the background are a great addition
Absolutely Awesome! From the engine noise to the spectators talking, the sound was 100% Also enjoyed the hover, translation and catch. Whereas others tend to have it descending too quick and the arms arresting the descent which won't happen. Nice to see the arms lowering SS straight away for effect, whereas in reality I assume there will be a period of safing and checking between the catch and lowering onto the OLM. 100% 🤩
Not sure, it might be that putting it down is the safest way to go, because then you can detank the residuals. Probably a few minutes to check the sensors first though, yeah.
Definitely not going to translate in toward the tower anywhere near that aggressively though!
I reckon we should see a much more rapid decent to hover- no different than a Falcon descending to tower height - then a slower translation to arrest on the Chopsticks. Many of the rationals for the entire tower landing scheme are about very narrow margins.

one day in the future i hope to be able to witness one of these superheavy launches
From an engineering and photographer perspective, how the (bleep), did u get those perfect graphics. That was truly beautiful!
-NOM-X
Beautiful render as usual from hazegrayart. Keep it up
Looks plausible. I wish that engineering concepts were presented in such a beautiful way. The commentary behind the camera really adds to immersion.
I find me having to convince myself that these are animations. Great work!
Impressive, very impressive. Cape Canaveral was my first hometown.
This CGI is a wonderful work!
great video, loved it's details :)
Even just the graphics are breathtaking! What will happen when a real rocket flies!
Sadly was a high end 3D rendering, but will happen like that soon, and i love the Atlantic accent from the journalist like in the 50's.
Good. But it will leap off the pad much faster than Falcon 9 does, it will also accelerate faster after liftoff than shown.
The compositing is what really makes these videos look awesome
Very wicked!! 😍. I think starship will ascend 1.5 quicker. Should be faster than ISRO launch.
In can't wait for this to be real! Awesome job.
I also like to compliment that in reality the physics and lighting is also very good and consistent. It's very good.
What baffles me is how many people are actually fooled by this to think it’s real and not just a representation of how it’s expected to go when they finally do it for real.
Another minor quibble: Starship (second stage) is supposed to have 9 engines, not 6. Starship 24, currently being readied for a test flight, is of this older design that only has 3 vacuum engines. But SpaceX already started building a Starship with the additional 3 engines.
The 6-engine version barely has a 1:1 thrust to weight ratio at separation. That's adequate if you're not concerned about an abort scenario with people on board, but if you are concerned about the second stage escaping a failing booster, you want the additional performance. Also, Musk has said the additional mass penalty of the additional 3 vacuum engines is offset by reducing gravity losses while getting into orbit.
Finally, that dust cloud was epic! At first I thought such a cloud was unrealistic ... but after thinking about it, you may be right on point there.
Love your renders!
9 engine is not coming *now/very near term*
@@alvianchoiriapriliansyah9882 - Since when? There have been 9-engine thrust pucks seen at Starbase. The first Starship to fly at the Cape will almost certainly have 9 engines.
I suspect we'll see a 9-engine Starship fly around the end of this year.
@@joelcorley3478 The thrust pucks are only supposed to have sea-level Raptor installed. The 9-engine thrust puck were for the older boosters with only 29 Raptors (newer ones have 33).
@@joelcorley3478 Source?
@@FastSloth87- There are thrust pucks for both Starship and Super Heavy.
I love rockets so very nice work
In the first two seconds of the short version of this video I freaked out because I thought I had somehow missed Starship's launch.
Great work here.
Something to improve.
Note: put dark smoke added to liftoff. Add large takeoff noises when filming distant take off.
Also add sonic booms coming in for booster landings.
My my my...it looks so real bro. Amazing work!!!
Nice
Add icing of the vehicle during prep/launch, and it's almost perfect?
Excellen job on the rocket and engine plume. Though the smoke and dust, as well as as the sky clearly are very visibly artificial. Still, I haven't seen a better animation so far.
This was good enough for an email. OF course I sent one.
I’ve been waiting for this, great work! ❤
Nice CGI ! Well done!
I have a hard time separating the cgi versions from the cgi looking real version of the first booster landings. So much so that I thought oh here’s another real but unreal looking booster landing 🤷🏻♂️
🤩💥охренеть! Супер круто!!👍👏🔥
Sound design is great.
Whoa! I had to check the title! I thought I missed the launch! Great job, I was sure fooled!
I almost spit my coffee when I watched the beginning of this video, if I missed any news of some sort, but when the rocket didn't do the known sonic boom sound I thought it was odd and looked closely to realize it wasn't a real footage.
Man! Another good one. We photographed Ship 24 and Booster 7 full stacked at Starbase Texas last month. Heart stopping just standing there looking at that monster.
At the very least, you got the flames right instead of just doing them any old way. Nice job!
Love it! Two thumbs ups
Fantastic animation! Absolutely beautiful! I hope the real thing coming up soon will be this smooth!
It’ll be faster!
Quite impressive animation. I almost thought it was real 😂
1:50 Min.: Where is the "flip to provide a safe separation", which was announced by the commentators at the real flight? 🙄
bro this was made 2 months ago
Beautiful work on the AGI
All my appreciation, it's a stunning sight. I know and admire how much work is involved.
SpaceX is now aiming for an Earth orbit test flight in April.
I saw this on tiktok.and freaked out I thought I missed.this
Very wel animated you had me at the first half
Nice CGI work, not bad
You forgot the sonic boom 💥 lol great work I can't wait to see the launch from Florida just a rocks throw from my house I've seen every launch since the 80s amazing every time
Pretty good!
When the James Bond film “Moonraker” came out, they came up with a Space Shuttle launch sequence very close to the real thing. Yours looks like another close match!
Are they actually planning to launch Starship from Cape Canaveral? I was under the impression Starship only launches from Texas Boca Chica launchpad (at least for the foreseeable future).
Great! Second stage ignition was way too soon after stage separation and adding audio delay in would have been nice, but I really liked how much dust there was at liftoff!
Looks so cute and wobbly
Awesome work, but the launch sequence would look even more realistic with datas of altitude and velocity in the lower left corner.
this is some amazing work! one minor detail i noticed is that most animations have the color temp of the flame to high. good for hydrogen fuel, but not methane. if it were more yellow, and slightly less bright, a tad more sooty i wouldn't have even known it was an animation
Great video, thank you!
Awesome, great job with the audio as well!
Bravo
espérons que ce sera comme ca un jour
Merci
very well done but the vehicle is moving to slow and there is no sense of speed and suspense, add a little shacky cam here and there and increase the speed slightly as the vehicle rises to get that secret sauce effect. The tower catch was quite funny to watch ... lol I believe it will come directly over the arms not translate over at the last minute
very nice animation
Super cool! What great work
Some dream and some work to achieve their dreams
fantastic
You missed the bit where the engines blow up and it hurtles into the launch mount in the biggest fireball you've ever seen .
I think it has more acceleration, I think it gets about 0.6G off the pad?
I would assume that a ride on Starship in it’s launch configuration will feel awesome!
If you didn't know, this is CGI. Starship hasn't done an orbital test yet.
Great video
Wow nice work ! you can clearly see how powerful the Starship will be 😁🤯
Looking forward to the real thing flying. Though I wonder if you're underestimating how quickly this monster will leave the pad... it may not be in the same league as the ICBM-derived systems, but the TWR of Superheavy is just insane...
Wow! It looks better then vertical landing on the platform. This engineering solution is a little more ingenious than before. I wonder when they will figure out how to simply catch expensive rockets in a large net or on a large pillow? 🤔
Elon dreams of this!
Elon says they might opt to catch the booster on the first try. Even if they have to terminate near ground zero, the near empty booster will be much less a threat to the OLT.
Amazing work as always.
Simply Amazing 🚀🇺🇸
Thought it was real. Nice work.
dang, it is realistic and accurate animation than certain movies
Gorgeous
starship reached space!
very nice animation👏
There are some people that will think this is real. Until it is a good CGI simulation.
OUTSTANDING animation! 👍
Nice animation !
