Nahko, you are my role model I don't think I could make it through the the day without this and during school I'm singing this and 5th grade is really hard but this makes it a lot easier
It makes me so happy that Nahko is able to reach the younger generation, the one that's going to really listen and really change the world. Keep listening and keep doing!
@@kianadrummond7329 Lol you're gonna have a hard time finding a man out here in this world that isn't ego driven, it's not a big deal to have an ego, you actually have to have one to "do" anything.
Don't give up hope listen to the voices that rise above the confusion...pray with the elements, the sky and the trees....I heard this message when I was tender age of 15 in 1967 in SF Bay Area....transform, pray and and most of all learn to love unconditionally this is what the world needs more then anything right now...And thank you for this Music that is medicine for the soul like a salve of sweet balm opening our eyes and our hearts. Once a flower child always a flower child....
Hey Raylene! Thank you for this beautiful message, it reached me at just the right time. I absolutely agree with you, and have learned just recently to talk with the land spirits and elements of our area. It has changed my entire life, just like this music, and I am entirely sincere in my expression. It's nice to hear from someone else who has experienced this aspect of life. Hard to talk about IRL, you know, but I do tell everyone about this music - every chance I get. Isn't this movement one of the most beautiful things you've ever witnessed? Love to you, sis, and many blessings. Keep on shining, you're doing brilliant work! xoxoxo
Every single song I've listened to by these guys speaks to me on a personal level...truly medicine. This wild ride called life has kicked me many times, and coming across this group has helped my wife and I immensely after our latest beatdown. Serendipitous to say the least, thank you so much for sharing your voice and your message. These warriors are coming up, hopefully our voices contribute to the cause some day!
Nahko i just wish i could sit and talk with you for half a day. i get the feeling it would be one of the most amazing conversations i have ever had. :D and for the record yes there would have to be some jammin in there too., :D much love and LOVE your music. :D
Ahh! This is my jam man! Im so glad I found Medicine for the People! It's awesome! You know how you come to a musically inspired desert in your life? ...like I listened the shitt outta Rebelution and Slightly Stoopid- Dispatch, all that good stuff, got tired of all the same songs, and BAM! Synchronicity and DIvine Alignment finds me... I meet these two awesome, beautiful Hippy Chicks (living inside their Van..) in California lol and they tell me about Medicine! Been jamming to em ever since and cant wait to vibe with them live!! Positive music! I expect this and alll their songs to have noo negative comments! only awesomeness!
Nice! thanks so much for suggesting them, Im just now checking them out... I also heard of a good band called Walk Off The Earth if you havent yet. Cheers my friend! Happy Trails

Every cell is transforming And returning to original concepts to construct And then I started to shape-shift And the animals within me grew tails and talons I hitched a ride on the back of a whale To the darkest of the ocean and ate off the bottom And then I traveled dimensions In the places I rode upon elephants and zebras Elephants and zebras {Verse 2} Well I dream of my future big time, yeah What it would be like to always have clean water And if we left the trees standing And they filtered the air and we breathed it in deeply So I traveled across Native America I saw the sickness taking form in all its small children Well if I could give to my people, yeah Well a piece of my peace will be with you always If I could give to my people, yeah Well a piece of my peace will be with you always Be with you always Be with you always {Pre-Chorus} I never thought I needed medicine But I was spiritually dying, I needed some healing So I opened my mouth and took a dose of the music Then I sat and prayed for guidance now teach me to use it I pray for guidance, now teach me to use it I pray for guidance, now give me the music {Chorus} And it definitely matters how you look at it And it definitely matters how you look at it So if you think you can risk it, well What an opportunity to be free of it Said if you think you can risk it, well What an opportunity to be free of it {Verse 3} I heard the herd, yeah, the wild horses I we're blazing new trails to uncertain territories I take a toke and reflect with coyote And we're dreaming up new ways to bring all the outcasts home I take my place in the choir And we're singing new songs of freedom and progress And we’re delivering the babies, yeah And we’re birthing up the next seven generations Said we’re delivering the babies, yeah And we’re birthing up the next seven generations Seven generations Seven generations {Pre-Chorus} I never thought I needed medicine But I was spiritually dying, I needed some healing So I opened my mouth and took a dose of the music Then I sat and prayed for guidance, now teach me to use it I pray for guidance now, teach me to use it I pray for guidance now, give me the music {Chorus} And it definitely matters how you look at it And it definitely matters how you look at it So if you think you can risk it, well What an opportunity to be free of it Said if you think you can risk it, well What an opportunity to be free of it {Outro} Mouthing off Such aggressive behavior I'm sounding off Holding my temper It comes in waves My enemies swim close to me My heart's displaced Connected to such bravery My hunger waits I cannot swallow, I cannot swallow I am all over the place My spirit bellows, My spirit bellows I am on my way My body follows, my body follows Written on my face Well do not follow, do not follow me
This one will always put a smile on my face.
Every. Time.

I meet a girl one time, we smoked some weed with a guy we jus met.... We should all do that
Lyrics anyone, please thanks
i feel bad for those 160 people that don't want to ride elephants and zebras.
I meet a guy one time, we smoke some weed. We should all do that
No
Every cell is transforming
And returning to original concepts to construct
And then I started to shape-shift
And the animals within me grew tails and talons
I hitched a ride on the back of a whale
To the darkest of the ocean and ate off the bottom
And then I traveled dimensions
In the places I rode upon elephants and zebras
Elephants and zebras
{Verse 2}
Well I dream of my future big time, yeah
What it would be like to always have clean water
And if we left the trees standing
And they filtered the air and we breathed it in deeply
So I traveled across Native America
I saw the sickness taking form in all its small children
Well if I could give to my people, yeah
Well a piece of my peace will be with you always
If I could give to my people, yeah
Well a piece of my peace will be with you always
Be with you always
Be with you always
{Pre-Chorus}
I never thought I needed medicine
But I was spiritually dying, I needed some healing
So I opened my mouth and took a dose of the music
Then I sat and prayed for guidance now teach me to use it
I pray for guidance, now teach me to use it
I pray for guidance, now give me the music
{Chorus}
And it definitely matters how you look at it
And it definitely matters how you look at it
So if you think you can risk it, well
What an opportunity to be free of it
Said if you think you can risk it, well
What an opportunity to be free of it
{Verse 3}
I heard the herd, yeah, the wild horses
I we're blazing new trails to uncertain territories
I take a toke and reflect with coyote
And we're dreaming up new ways to bring all the outcasts home
I take my place in the choir
And we're singing new songs of freedom and progress
And we’re delivering the babies, yeah
And we’re birthing up the next seven generations
Said we’re delivering the babies, yeah
And we’re birthing up the next seven generations
Seven generations
Seven generations
{Pre-Chorus}
I never thought I needed medicine
But I was spiritually dying, I needed some healing
So I opened my mouth and took a dose of the music
Then I sat and prayed for guidance, now teach me to use it
I pray for guidance now, teach me to use it
I pray for guidance now, give me the music
{Chorus}
And it definitely matters how you look at it
And it definitely matters how you look at it
So if you think you can risk it, well
What an opportunity to be free of it
Said if you think you can risk it, well
What an opportunity to be free of it
{Outro}
Mouthing off
Such aggressive behavior
I'm sounding off
Holding my temper
It comes in waves
My enemies swim close to me
My heart's displaced
Connected to such bravery
My hunger waits
I cannot swallow, I cannot swallow
I am all over the place
My spirit bellows, My spirit bellows
I am on my way
My body follows, my body follows
Written on my face
Well do not follow, do not follow me
Sir, you are not saying “risk it” 😂
