Thanks Robert and Thumbs Up for the Canadiana broadcast on our Labour Day Weekend! Cheers
Brian
Thank you Brian. Some awesome bands for sure
Have a wonderful long weekend
@@RobertsOnMyTurntable fishing all this past week and over the coming weekend in our local salmon derby!
Klaatu, is that the ba d everyone thought was the Beatles? Many thanks Robertâïž I see you covered it
Yea, there was a huge rumour this was the Beatles. Wasnât true in the end, but it brought popularity to the band
I also can kick myself for getting rid of albums that I'd should've kept. One of those is LAZARUS silver covered gatefold. I guess back then I would skip over bad tracks, unfortunately not realizing of missing great tracks. Try finding it now$$, ( I only paid 50Âą ).
Try Randy Bachman solo albums. I only have one album, one CD, and they're great. Thanks for sharing some cool albums.
I will check them out! What a bargain at 50 cents
Hope you find another copy my friend đ
Sloan have been my favourite or in my top three favourites since 1993. Exceptional band!
I have not heard of The Arkells, so Iâll be checking them out.
That Klaatu album is terrific!
Great stuff! I just found out about Brave Belt recently and I've been looking out for them. It's great that you found a promo!
I scoopedvthat up right away. A great sounding album
Hope you find some yourself my friend
Iâve actually never heard any Brave Belt songs. I should check them out too.
They sound quite different than BTO. Still good...but different
Hi Robert!!! Always cool to see some canadian/local talent in your videos..... and yet to discover bands that unfortunately, at least here are unknown. Nice to see you got that Klaatu album back in your collection and learn a little more about BTO previous band, yeah ythe name is much better, lol.... but the album cover (Brave Belt) is super cool. Not familiar with that Nazareth 80's release, for what i read it wasn't an easy decade for them musically speakin' cheers and be well
That Nazareth album is pretty good. They still rocked then
I'm glad I got it back too
Thank you as always Cristian
3 bands where 3 or more members used to sing go!
Mastodon! Gomez! âŠaaand Teenage Fanclub! đ€
Eagles, CSNY, America, The Beatles

Nazarethâs most consistent overseas success was in Canada in the seventies. Theyâre close enough to at least be honorary guests.
They are so good and underrated
I have a couple of albums by Sloan really need to get more exellent band
They are a great band. Underrated really
I think it's strange that Randy Bachman is currently touring as Bachman-Turner Overdrive without Fred Turner. He's doing BTO and Guess Who hits, but why not just tour as Randy Bachman? He sounds great. Especially compared to other artists his age that are still touring.
Strange isn't it. They had been together for so long. I guess he owns the rights. Not bad for an 80 year old guy
Richard Carpenter
Thank you
Loads of cool records, would love to know more about Klaatu.
He he, Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Did you guys get any Harry Enfield in Canada?
He and Paul Whitehouse played Smashie and Nicey characters who first appeared in the early 1990s TV sketch show Harry Enfield's Television Programme. They only played ONE track, You Aint Seen Nothing Yet:

Haven't seen any of Enfield here. I will check them out! Thank you for that
That is too funny. Love that kind of humour đ
@@RobertsOnMyTurntable I thought maybe british stuff still made it across to Canada. I love british humour. Well, these days they only make panelshows đ
@@RobertsOnMyTurntable Harry Enfield started long ago in a UK Saturday Night Live and Harry Enfield and Chums. Paul Whitehouse became HUGE in the sketchshow The Fast Show. All the stuff they later made together is just stellar.
