i saw AMP for the first time on friday and i totally understand the hype! i'm not sure about technique/whatever as im not a professional but i ABSOLUTELY get the hype now. the arena was SO FUN during the performance!! it was such an amazing experience and probably one of the most hype crowds i've ever been a part of for a show
An absolutely stunning production, where choreography informed the characters,. The staging created a dazzling variety of settings, inspired by the chaos of the original novel by Lewis Carroll. Inventive, memorable, and playful in the arrangement, costuming and choreo. Alice should transform in some way, visually and emotionally, by the end, but she doesn't.
it was kinda dirty but this was a really nice show! the hip-hop section almost lost me but the soloist @ the end saved it lol. they got a 87 for pre & semi. i could see this getting a 89-90 range.
@@pickl3143 that’s awesome! i miss my old guard days lol. & amp had a great/really fun show this year! i love the teams that can bring an interesting theme/music mix among all the classical & lyrical routines
@@ama-vk5sf I have friends there this weekend that say it’s a really fun show. And I agree. Just surprised at how dirty this was for finals week. Maybe it was just a bad run.
