Phospher bronze washers are a form of plain bearing that is self lubricating. They are extremely tough compared to ball bearings. There's a reason the connecting rod bearings in many engines are made from bronze alloys and are a plain type and not ball bearings. Ball bearings might feel fancy because of the reduced friction, but when it comes to something that needs to last under rough conditions, plain bearings are the way to go.

I think the Arcade would be ever more popular if they offered it with some sort of sheep’s foot blade like the AD20.5’s shark foot blade. Or maybe just different blade geometry options.

Got the arcade the second it dropped and have absolutely loved it!!! Completely customized mine using flytanium too.
I bought a Miguron Arma a few weeks ago, and it's a real chunky beast! My only minor complaint is that when releasing the frame lock with my thumb, the front flipper often comes in contact with my thumb as it closes. Finish is beautiful and opening with the front flipper or thumb works great. Mine seems to be tight and difficult to reverse flick due to the very strong detent. But usually I can at least unseat it enough to combine with a wrist flick to get it open that way. Overall, I love it!

This is why I love your channel, I like the more exotic looking knives and the unusual type of knives not always the same ole same ole boring stuff! Another thing I was thinking is the last knife you showed the Redemption by CRKT would have been and has a great foundation of a fantastic looking new age type of switchblade.
Fun story, I remembered your review of the Arma and by accident ended up buying an Ares (by PMP). But wow, I'm super happy with my mix-up! 🥰
Someone commented on your original Redemption video that it would be cool to sharpen just the first inch of the top side, and I agree. Also might take the knife to the next level to send it out and have someone put a compound hollow grind on that bottom edge and sharpen the first inch on the top. Certainly should be enough material there to do that because as I recall, the blade stock is pretty thick.
The Redemption is sooooo soooo amazing! Probably one of my favorites that I own. I had that dull edge sharpened and absolutely no issues with the blade protruding past the handle

I absolutely love the arcade. I came to it late, So I got the green with the lime inlays. Still looking for the grey one at a reasonable price. I also hope they don’t stop making them, would love to see new color ways.
I'm pretty sure that the Real Steel with the scandi grind/bar lock in running on phosphor bronze which is why it was giving you similar action to the Maxace Peregrine. Great video as usual MC💪

The Tiger is awesome even though it's gigantic. Mine came without the pivot tool and I've been trying to get that for the past month and a half or so which is kind of annoying.
I've got the Satyr too, got it right from Artisan. The first one they sent me was bad, unfinished basically. They replaced it quickly without any hassle. Neither of their blades or millwork looked nearly as nice as yours but it's decent for 200 bucks. It isn't very comfortable to use but it looks good in the pelican case or on my desk. Artisan has a thing for very narrow knives and I am bad at learning lessons.

That's not the only you can deploy that WE Cybernetic knife. You can let gravity do its thing and use your hand to flick it down. It's as fast as a switch blade. Awesome knife!

I followed the Amazon link but one of the reviews showed the Pathfinder with _lots_ of edge chips after supposedly cutting into wood, did you have any issues with yours? Because I love the scandibgrind and missed out on getting Vosteed's Grind.
One knife I’ve always thought to be very underrated is the Spyderco Native 5 Light Weight, such a great knife, but not talked about as much as Id think it would be.

Also there is 2 more that in my mind that are not talked about is the kizer hyper and the kizer sliver ... both is S35VN and both inexpecive and lovely knives to use

People need to think... PB-Washers, more or less, can just lubricated with whatever you have at hand and they will work some way until they literally break away. If you use a Ballbearing in a dirty, let alone sticky environment... you better have the time to take this thing apart and clean it with some Ultrasonic bath...
That CRKT but slightly smaller and a thumb stud would be a best seller...need to make it happen CRKT.

right! you don't really see glow carbon often, I found a glow carbon backspacer for my pm2 on etsy and it was pretty nice too, but unfortunately didn't play well with the gitd lanyard hole plug I got to match it
I like small boring knives, I have nothing to compensate for! lol
But really I like simple designs because I'm not a collector and I'm not looking for pretty stuff although I love that glow in the dark carbon fiber, I'd love some scales that looked like that!
Also have you seen the QSP Canary folder? You unboxed the original neck knife Canary! And I would like your opinion on the folding version!

I actually prefer bronze washers over bearings. I'm often in very dirty environments and bearings I have learned are a no go.
I really want an Arcade but im holding out hope they come out with one that has a sheepsfoot or wharncliffe blade...or even HOPEFULLY a sharksfoot

I like a lot the Arcade, want it bad
For the people that argue bearings are better than washers... Ive had to disassemble ALL of my bearing knives because the action gets gritty and shitty even if one of my dogs hairs found its way in, it makes it hang up. Accidentally drop the knife in the dirt or a dirty shop floor? Well you have debris in your pivot. Washers are superior to bearings even with their action. Washers wont gum up, they just get smoother as you use them and they're just as smooth if not smoother than a knife on bearings. All my personal experiences and opinions.

I think the Hypersonic would do better with a different inlay on the handle. It is very heavy too...

Lots of titanium. Not a complaint! I’m what is known as a cheap-ass. So, those pricey ones left me cold. And some of them were innovative to the level of grotesque! But a couple of head turners for me. That first one is my fave of the bunch. Reminds of my favorite unsung hero… the QSP Hawk. I bought it on a whim. My absolute favorite folder. Currently.

I normally don't even look at knives that are made in China anymore, but I have to admit that Miguron Arma is very appealing to me. I was looking at some GTC knives on Arizona Custom Knives yesterday and I gotta say I don't ever see myself owning one. The full custom ISLT (the one I mainly checked out because of it's price) Imo just looks horrible. The inlays look to have huge gaps pretty all around them, some have huge pitting throughout, and if you look closely it looks like none are proportional. A lot of of the machining just looks horrendous Imo as well, but maybe Gustavo did it that way for a reason, Idk. I know it's a integral and more than likely made primarily by hand, but I would expect it to look a lot better than it does for the price. My favorite knife lately is the CKF Sukhoi 4. Don't really see many talking about that knife. Maybe because of the price,Idk. It is a sweat looking user though Imo.
I have the Satyr, Cybernetic, Hypersonic, and Arcade... It's enough.

My state allows OTF's and autos but says gravity knives are illegal. My Benchmade Infidel is legal, but the CKRT Hogue is not. Go figure.
