Going 11-1 missing being the #1 seed in the CFP by 6 points in Ann Arbor being called a mediocre season and massive disappointment just shows how high the expectations are
Unable to deliver a killer instinct offense. That sums up the season as mediocre. He squander the offensive talents on hand, unable to use them to their extend. That is mediocre.
Yeah, we are Ohio State, there is no extra credit for coming in second place in the Big 10 and 10th in the nation.

Kansas State and Will Howard fan here. You all got a gem with Will, he's not just athletic hes smart too. His game will be completely different at OSU with the caliber of athletes that will be surrounding him. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he leads the Buckeyes to the National Championship. Looking forward to watching him next year.

I like that Howard can run. McCord was a statue back there in the pocket. Anyone who thinks that Howard is similar to McCord is wrong. OSU's offensive style works best with a mobile QB that can scramble/run. CJ Stroud didn't run much to the chagrin of many Buckeye fans, but he scrambled a lot which kept plays alive. I think he adds back that running dimension into the offense and he will spark the offense - in addition to improving as a passer because of having better skill position talent around him than he had at KState.
@@mcandou2004 I don't know anything about the previous quarterbacks other than what I've read in comments but no he's definitely not afraid to run it.
Let's be real here. Ryan Day should have one Title already. He almost beat the National Champs in their backyard with a QB who won't sniff the NFL. Fans need to get perspective, but Day needs to close the deal.
You can't live off losing close to the best. You have to be the best to keep your position at certain gigs.

All that’s great but I’d like to see some upgrades on the offensive and defensive lines. Titles are won in the trenches I’m tired of them being so soft the last three years Michigan has just bullied them with tuff physical play they need some big nasties on the lines.

As a Michigan fan, I think Ohio State has it in the bag this coming season. We’re losing way too much and OSU has done a great job with recruits and transfers.
I just want us to be able to compete at a high level.

Excited for that game in late November as always we’ll see if my boys can take the 4th in a row, OSU returns a lot of talent but that’s never been their issue IMO, I like a ton of their players like Burke, Sawyer, Henderson, that Judkins kid, but their issue has been Ryan Day has choked under the pressure the past couple of years against Michigan with some questionable play calling so we’ll see if he can change that, for my sake hopefully not. GoBlue! 〽️

@@rayelee1301I haven't assessed you yet, I can't completely tell from your comment, however the obvious problem I have with that TTUN fans are that they truly believe there wasn't any wrong doing on the coaching staffs part as it pertains to breaking rules. Sign stealing isn't new, all schools will attempt it. The problem is, your coaching staff recorded it, which is illegal.
The proof? Your head coach being suspended twice in the same season. First due to covid violations( contact with a recruit during dead period), second because of the evidence presented to the BIG10 commissioner by the NCAA infractions committee. How does a coach get suspended because "people don't like him", not possible and is illegal. Other proof? Your team makes Connor resign. Why? BIG10 schools pulls up his name off of ticket master and some have recordings of Connor holding up his phone pointed at the team sidelines. He has orchestrated a scheme that involved other people going to games of future opponents doing the same thing. Other proof? Your team fires the LB coach for deleting evidence off of the computer per NCAA infractions committee. Why would they let go of a coach where his position players were dominating on defense?
This whole us against the world mentality the vast majority of your fan base took, is sickening and ignorant. Desperation brings out the worst in people. Your coaching staff and fan base proves that. Then to top it off your fan base tries to say Ryan Days brother is the one who told and that there is proof that OSU broke rules. First off even if Day's brother told, that would imply there is truth to the sign stealing if all of what's happened occured. Secondly, the sheer audacity to bring us into your self imposed mess is a new low that I even thought you guys wouldn't do.

There are 12 teams involved and depending where they rank they may have to play 4 or 6 games to win the championship. That is a tall order for any team in the country to go unscathed. I suspect we will see some surprises, especially in the first games that all the teams play because they have so much more time to prepare for that first game and can add wrinkles. You have the talents OSU, but do you have a team? Usually a bunch of 5 stars want to be at the center of the galaxy and show out. If they can get around that, they have the talent to win it all. But there is always a blue collar team lurking somewhere to tell them what time of day it is, when they least expect it.
As much crap as fans give Ryan Day, the guy is 56-8 and he’s proven that doesn’t hesitate to make changes and adapt… Bringing Will Howard and Quinshon Judkins is a game changer, and additional staff changes are coming - Bucks should far and wide be the favorite to win it.

Look, McCord was gutless to run after losing to UM, but if he'd played in the Cotton we'd have won that game. If he could score twice against UM he have done the same against Missouri and the defense would not have worn down. As for Brown, he's just too delicate. The K State guy will be the key next fall.

Also the team that this line has struggled the most with, Michigan, has also had the advantage of knowing the play calls and have had linemen starting for them who in other years would be in the NFL and have been with the program for an extended period of time because of covid exceptions.

They always recruited well, but the problem is that, they don’t know how to develop players. Michigan, they never have the best talent, but their development is amazing. Ryan day is the most overrated coach in college football history.

Osu is definitely on the decline and won't match their incredible 2023. Maryland is on the rise and expect osu to lose at least two conference games and one non-conference game.
