Blood Donation Camp | 2024 | KCP

NSS Department, NCC Naval Wing, NCC Army Wing, Red Cross and Youth Club Of Khalsa College Patiala jointly organised a blood donation camp today at the college campus dedicated to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Rajguru and Sukhdev Shahadat with the support of Rajindra Hospital Patiala . In which a large amount of blood was donated by the staff and students of the college.
This blood donation cap was inaugurated by the college principal Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha. On this occasion, he said that donating blood is the greatest service to humanity, because blood donation is a great donation and many precious lives can be saved by donating blood. A single drop of blood is precious which can give life to any dying person. He also said that donating blood does not bring any weakness but gives a satisfaction to the mind by donating it to a needy person. Dr.Sukhwinder Singh along with his medical team from Rajindra Hospital said on this occasion that by donating blood, not only one patient but four patients benefit, because the four components of blood such as plasma, RBC, platelets and haemophilia are used for clotting factor of patients. On this occasion, besides others, Deputy Principal Dr. Jasleen Kaur, Vice Principal Dr. Gurmeet Singh, Vice Principal Dr. Harvinder Kaur, Prof. Jitinder Singh, Prof. Nishan Singh, Dr. Jagtar Singh, Dr. Sarabjit Singh, Dr. Rajbinder Singh, Dr. Sapna and other staff members and students were present.
