A lot of people have been asking who our test drivers were for the shootout. Meed Fred Rojas, a long time SxS enthusiast. Fred's owned many RZR's, and currently drives a Pro R 4 seater. Fred lives in Calexico, and drives a lot in Baja, along with some Plaster City, Glamis, and surrounding areas. Here is what he thought, after driving all 3 back to back to back.

You should try the different brake pads before installing the big brakes and give us your thoughts

Awesome! Time will tell on longevity. Excited to get mine! Suspension is most important to me. Rather have the speed in the whoops than off the line.

All three cars are fun, just different flavors of fun. It's nice that we off-roaders have such excellent choices. It's a good time to be alive! Its good to hear everybody's opinion . Speed appears to be low on power and brakes. Hopefully it is still able to safely stop with passengers in a reasonable distance. Brakes should not be an issue in a brand new sport sxs.
All these comments made me realize the type of goons that are buying these machines have no clue!

I’ll wait for the 2024 x4. I just sold my pro r ultimate. Wasn’t to impressed with it. I miss my old yxz. I had 3 can am x3’s and they all felt faster and sportier than my pro r
Thanks again for putting the stuff out there I know it takes time because I do a little bit of editing myself mostly for my family videos but nevertheless. I think some of the things worth mentioning that the others really don’t have are the third gear overdrive which is definitely gonna get you better miles per gallon than a pro r on long halls and the storage in the bed none of these cars have as much storage for people that actually want to do things that involve needed storage and I know there’s a lot of us to do. Yes you can add a roof rack but that’s not idea having weight up high. I already have that on my current car and I don’t like it and won’t be doing it again.

Cool review I’m interested what it would be like to compare the turbo r to the speed. I find it hard to compare power to and engine with twice the cc that has more hp potential and has to work less to achieve the same hp numbers. That being said I’m also curious which car out of the box is capable of higher speeds through rough terrain.
It would be a great shootout for sure
The thing I worry about with the speed is how likely is it the company will exist a few years down the road and then you could be stuck with a car that isn't supported anymore.
Reliability is key for me and most of us average joes , neither the pro r or the speed are proven, all the other things you guys mention are basically for the rich or people who are in competition 😢😅

Did you interview this guy because your trying to justify buying the wrong car? I mean you drove all of them and the pro r won shouldn't that be the end of the story? Why bring this guy on if all of you drove all the cars separately and tested them? It's to make yourself feel better for buying the wrong car that's why. You just can't leave it alone. Unbelievable

There is the big brakes option "if" anyone desires....is meantioned. Add in the additional 200# of weight as well in compairson to the others. Dollar for dollar is the best on the market what one gets rolling out of the gate! How much is the new Polaris Overlander outfitted with basic additional options without a beefed up cage alone?
