I thought i would show you my lovely new Vintage Halloween Digital Kit and make something with them, it turned out to be a wonderful Halloween journal. A lot bigger than expected but I had so much fun making it. I hope it will give you some ideas.

Halloween is my daughter's favorite holiday. She does wonders with her house decor. I wish I could make her a journal like this but I'm an amateur. She would flip with something like this. Great work Gi!

Hi Gi, this is incredible, I love, love, love it!! The witch's dress is brilliant. You are so imaginetive and clever. I sold a Halloween themed one today (only for £10 on eBay), and I did a coffin shaped cover, and it was pull-out concertina style, and has magnetised, removable extra pages. Not a patch on yours though. Like you, I had lots of fun making it. I wish I could've sold it for more, but eBay buyers want something for nothing!!! Thank you for sharing yours with us. Take care. Holy EFFING Wow!
Now you know I love all the soft, dreamy, petticoat ish, feminine, floral, romantic, creamy, lacy ruffling you normally do...love those a lot.
But this is simply stunning!
My Pagan witchy vibes are buzzing with lust! 😍 Oh my! I couldn't have described what I'd want in my ideal spooky journal any better than what you've done here...this is better than I would have even thought of! I love Halloween, but one thing I really don't like is how frequently purple and orange are used with so many Halloween decorations. That colour combo is seriously vile in my opinion! Plus it makes things look childish.
This, damp mossy green, faded black and grey grungey creation is about as good as it gets. It is literally perfect.
This just screams creative indulgence, and has really brought out a side of you artistically that feels so much freer, so much more natural and intuitive. Honestly this is the best thing I've ever seen you make. There's no formula here, no junk journal 101 basics, there's no intention of appealing to the masses or wanting to serve up something to please your subscribers. You let yourself go completely and you didn't so much make it, it's more like it just flowed out of you. Wow!
Honestly, you know you are an artistic soul anyway, but this was Gi with the gloves off. No insecurities about your talent here whatsoever, you opened the floodgates and there was no stopping it! Look at what you made! Look at that talent! I'm almost crying because for the first time I feel like I've seen your true artistic core. Not tried and tested successful and pleasing results that you always do. This was more raw, more digging deep, and more guttural.
I'm gonna shut up because I'm sounding like one of those poncey, pretentious, airheads describing a painting, connecting with their inner voice, being at one with peace or other delusional twaddle they spew out!
And I do not want my comment to sound as though I'm licking your proverbial arse! 🙄
I am being genuine. You've put something into this that I have never seen you give before. You're always great, always consistent, always deliver....but this is so much more confident, daring and bold. It's glorious Gi! The balance of embellishments, the details, the swathes of fabric, the abundance of trinkets and tassels, the playfulness of the pages. I'm saving this video for sure. I feel quite honoured to have witnessed this latent talent pour out of you unbidden and free.
You should feel so bloody proud of yourself! Well done. Very well done.
I don't know if I want to wear it, or live in it...a bit of both. It's like a haunted house with surprises in every nook and cranny. I want to climb in and explore.

As others have said, Halloween is not my thing, but having said that, your journal is incredible! My wish is that you or another crafter will do a harvest/Thanksgiving journal that is just as beautiful and thoughtful. Thanksgiving seems to have become a forgotten holiday in the last several years.

Oh Gi! Never in a million years would I have thought that you would do a scary journal! Where’s the pink? Where’s the butterflies? It’s fabulous! When you started with the witches dress I thought OK this is not going to be so scary! But you have SPIDERS!!!
