Unfortunately, it's hard to give tips on this. But with time and practice it will get better and better, I'm sure. The only advice I can give you is to get into a good position and look at a distant point to help stabilize it better.

How deep is that where you're at?
At the peak there is 3-4m of water and on the wave about 1,5-2m so not very dry but not very deep either.
