I'm planning on doing a body swap of a 1500 Goldwing onto a 2004 1800 Goldwing now the instrument cluster on the 1500 is old school where the speedo uses a cable on the 1800 it is electrical. Now there are dash lights that function for various things like Reverse, Side Stand, Cruise on Cruise set, FI light which also is a trouble shooting light if for any reason the engine has a fault. Now there is a ECU but no OB2 output. Are there any functions for adding more information in the instrument set up.

Can I change what id the dash look at from the ecu?
Will this dash recognize the CAN signal from a Holley Terminator?

Can you make a video of how to tap into the main harness to get these lights to turn on ? Only my turn signals and hazards and parking brake works but the rest aren’t illuminated and im positive i tapped into the right wire and i even went as far as grounding it

Is this something a newbie can do or is it better left to a professional? Is it pretty much plug n play? I assume imma have to tap into the accessory so it turns on when the car is turned on but other than that my knowledge is very limited.
The digital dash is simple to set up if you have a supported ECU. You simply wire the dash into a 3 amp ignition source and ground. Then plug the CAN High and Low wires into the supported ECU.
Can this or any other that you have be installed in a 2002 1005 hyundai sonata?
standalone version can work, not plug and play as that ECU is not supported currently
Is it possible to add gauges to the lap timer display or the other way around?
yes, you can add current lap time and best lap time as a gauge to any display layout
I have a haltech elite 550 ..is this dash compatible with this base level ECU or will I need to upgrade ?
It’s compatible, Choose Haltech elite as your cable option
just received and installed your dash with a haltech gm sport 1000 ecu with gps speedo and can extender works but the rpm and gps keep freezing individually and simultaneously, been rebooting but this is very frustrating as it does it every 5 minutes or so? also only getting water temp no oil pressure or oil temp, 89 c4 corvette????

the unit automatically turns out when adequate power (2+Amps) is connected
Have tried several times to connect to Wifi and it keeps failing. It can pick up the SSID though, just doesn’t connect after the password input part.
Any thoughts?
And can I transfer data across without WiFi, such as through the USB or Ethernet?

How do you reset the dash display? I totally minced mine (i didnt clickl save) but for some reason its saved the changes.

Have just bought a car with the dash already setup running the haltech gps as speed input. I deleted the saved dash layouts and now the speed does not display in any layout, it just stays at zero? How do I correct this please?

Is this compatible with an Apexi Power FC? Saw on your website it is through the datalogit. Just want to make sure before purchasing,
Yes they are, you will need an fc Hako or a datalogit cable, I use one in my r33

Does it read fuel level or do I need to keep the fuel gauge?
The dash can display fuel level if your ECU broadcast it over CANBUS, or wired in with our CAN I/O Extender.

Does this work with 1jz non vvti stock ecu?
It does not as that ECU does not have CANBUS. You would need our standalone bundle to manually wire-in each sensor to the dash.
Does this work with an AEM infinity Ecu? Do I have wire in the hi & low can to dash?
Yep, works with AEM Infinity. Correct, CAN HI/LO is the port we read data from
Can you run this with a stock ecu?
Sure can, but it depends which ecu as not all are supported. There is a list on the “supported sensors” page on our website

@@jamesp6128 While a wireless mouse will work well, they still need a windows application that you can load up on your PC, laptop, or tablet, that you can build your layout on and then upload to the dash.

@@sw204me Like the AEM dash design software. Which I really like. But yeah, the pop up menus on the screen are hard to work with for sure.
