  • I noticed nobody made a video for this specific bike so I figured I would. Learn from my mistakes and don’t break bolts, it’ll just prolong your job. Sorry for the quick ending, my cameraman wasn’t available for the last clip after my screw up, and was just tryna get it back together. Give a thumbs up if this video helped !

I had an 88 Honda BROS 400 back in the day. Tried to change the clutch on that, but I f*cked up the staked bolt that holds it all together. Never did change it! Lol. Now I have a 2020 CBR650r, and have to have it serviced regularly by professionals to keep the "warranty" the bike came with.

How did you get the broken bolt out?? Just did the same thing you did. Also do you know what size the replacement bolts are?

Sorry for late response I know the situation a lil frustrating and time sensitive, I used a thin screwdriver and was able to slowly turn the bolt out without stripping the threads, it left a small notch from snapping that I was able to turn it out with. I’m not sure the exact size, I called a couple motorcycle shops and asked if they had any bolts for the clutch spring, and brought one of the unbroken bolts to compare, and got lucky that one shop knew exactly what I was looking for. Tell them it’s for a Honda/sport bike clutch, should be mostly the same sizes.
