Vehicle: Mercedes W212 E-Class 2009-2016, maybe some details apply to W211.
Important note: To remove the glove box, remove the passenger trim and center vent completely. I realized this later. Watch the whole video as some details are covered later.
If your glove box light isn't working and it's not the bulb, this video shows the probable cause - a design deficiency common on these models where the wiring breaks at the plug to the switch. Info on pin and plug numbers for repair shown. The pins are removable so you can reuse the plug.
This is not intended to be a professional video. It is filmed raw and I'm learning along as I film. But I try to focus and explain all tricky parts. I hope it helps you. Like, comment, and subscribe.

This video saved my life. Radio wasn't working. I had to LOOP or bypass the MOST Fiber optic network at the Media Interface Module behind the glove box. Look elsewhere on YT for fiber optic Loop. As soon as the MI was bypassed, radio came online. Thanks Paul Santos.

I bought one of these on ebay and of course the light doesn't work. I replaced the bulb and still no good I'm guessing its the switch. Was wondering what the part # for the switch is so I can order it before taking it out.
