Here's my Game Of Thrones Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms Trailer for the next new Prequel Series and how it fits into the timeline. Here's my Jon Snow Sequel Teaser too! czcams.com/video/NoFsFLF2Hpo/video.html
Thank you so much as always Charlie for the fabulous updates! So excited for the show hope we see Baelor breakspear is one of my favorite one of the most noble targaryens🐉🔥.
no problem!
Is this confirmed live action or animated??
Your thumbnail pic has been my background for years! I love it!
Kkkkkkmk K
Confirmed: We ain’t ever getting the last 2 books
That's what I heard too 😢
a few hundred pages away from being finished means you’ll never see it, guy has written and worked in television for decades while writing the first five novels plus dozens of other novels and anthologies, stop being such whiny bitches let him work and until he’s dead shut up
@@19JSC92where u hear this ?
@@Jay-on9og not actually confirmed, but might as well have been. With all the new show serieses George will probably never get to finish the Dunc and egg novellas, the asoiaf book series, and the second volume to fire and blood :(
I've been saying this for about 5 years...buddy doesn't even want to finish them damn books at this point
Aegon conquest and Roberts Rebellion are prequel shows I want to see happen hope George R R Martin can give us an update on the final two books in the main series it's been twelve years and counting of waiting
They'll get to all those stories eventually. They're also working on at least 6-7 other shows at the moment too.
@@emergencyawesome lets just hope they dont rush the seasons take their time with it so much great storytelling also Valar Morghulis
Same. I also want to see the rebellions of Dorne
Maybe we get the second to last book, but the last one, if Martin takes as much time writing it, will bring him to the age of 87-88... And I can't imagine him writing it faster as he gets older, so... Better not to think about it.
@@thierrymercure Are you talking about George R.R. Martin? This is about George R Martian.
I was hoping to get the Blackfyre rebellion first, but if we finally get to find out what happened at Summerhall, it'll be worth it.
The only problem is he hasn’t fucking written it yet
this covers certain blackfyre rebellions right?
@@CoachLan the second one.l, I think, but I was really hoping to see the build-up to the first one with Aegon IV and all the great bastards and him dying and legitimizing all of them. Would have been awesome.
@@CoachLan There are 5 Blackfyre rebellions. This show will cover 2, 3 and 4.
It's either two options. Either the showrunners will end up making up their own ending. And we all know how well that went.
Or it's resolution lead to another storyline with a payoff in the future.
I love ASOIAF lore so much. The whole of the history before Game of Thrones is so fascinating
awesome! I'll do more videos for the series when we get more details!
I love a show about the Children of the Forest and the First Men and their war which led to creation of the Night King...I know we get a flash back of how it happened but to see the whole story ect would be pretty sick
That would be amazing
A full-blown Snow series is seeming less and less likely after these announcements. They could however do a limited/mini series with 5 (maybe 6) hour+ episodes, which without a doubt, I’ll still show up for.
I always thought the Snow series was going to be a mini series to begin with
sheesh they can give me a 5 hour movie like the snyder cut and i'd be happy lol
The snow series would be like the new Star Wars films, completely off-canon and making it up as they go along
I never understood how a sequel show in GOT could be green lit without any source material. They're already having enough trouble with the prequel shows with ACTUAL book source material.
Kit Harington is a near dwarf with the acting skills of an oak bookshelf - so we'll not miss much.
I hope eventually they make a show that follows the white walkers the first Children and how they changed him into the night king. That was 1 of the best parts in the show.
This I wanna see
I agree! The whole story of The Children, the war that made them create the walkers, Bloodraven…. Omg yes!
i just want them to remake the last few seasons or atleast last season of game of thrones
I think that would be apart of the aegon movie if it’s drops cause aegon go back like 1000 years like the night king
They should make the entire story and lore from the beginning
Yes! The Tales of Dunc n Aeg is my favorite book. Not just favorite GoT book but my actual all-time favorite book. It was perfect for me. Duncan was super relatable and Aeg became the best king ever.
How many spinoffs does the show need? Either way I’m up for it!
There should be at least two more. Blackfyre rebellion and Aegons conquest
It's about how much the lore deserves to be depicted than "spinning off the show"
@@duck2744 I think they should do the House of the Dragon as an anthology series and each successive spinoff be under that branch of the name. Like the first part of the anthology is HOTD: Dance of the Dragons, then HOTD: Aegons Conquest, HOTD: Blackfyre Rebellion etc...
I want one about essos especially the really fringe areas with crazy wildlife
@@reallycasty The thing is… that they are ALWAYS! Playing the Game of Thrones… that’s why is such a good name and they won’t waste it not after the success it had! Lol
Nah. See what everyone’s missing here, is a HUGE epic series about the Tales of the First Men, how they defeated the White Walkers, the Night King, and the Founding of the Night’s Watch. This would be a big sprawling story worth watching. There’s so much material from the original series that leaves tons of questions, about the children, the first men, the fist of the first men, the first long night, the night king, the first three eyed raven, and the very first man who ever took the black. THAT would be a story worth telling.
That would be a story
The scale is too big for one series, with all the magic elements I feel they'd struggle to bring them alive. Dnd kinda mucked up the magical aspect even with just the main series events, which didn't have thay much of it.
Yes but its hard to fit a current political narrative in there, which is why none of the spin offs will be about good plot and story, and will either involve a strong female with a weak lead male, minority, or babysitting or all of the above.
Agree, think these are the spin-offs most people were hoping would happen. I would have preferred these questions/ origins being answered rather than brand new material.
I love The Hedge Knight, actually looking forward to this more than House of Dragons.
I have a feeling that they will focus more on dialogue and story telling this time. Now that dragons and cgi won’t be the main focal point of the show.
I am curious how they will adapt the show, I bet it will be similar to GOT first 3 season where they wasn’t too much CGI except for the settings and Diarwolves
This is so great. The Dunk n Egg stories were so fun, and when i read them i thought how made for tv they are
Or a story about Bravos, and the faceless men and the origins of their order, the dead god, the lord of light and the red priests…and how their order came to be… also another story worth telling, because it would involve the kingdom of Bravos aswell. The Bravosi are known as some of the fiercest fighters in the seven kingdoms, and them, and the faceless men as a flip side to the story, just like there was two sides to the original series (light and dark), they could give that to audiences again.
rwmoving all the mystery destroys the story
@@cdreid9999i couldn't agree more
The development of this series will be interesting, in that its success will absolutely depend on making the right casting choices for Dunk and Egg. They essentially have to create the same sort of great-chemistry duo that they had with Arya and the Hound. HBO has a solid history of making mostly great casting choices for the ASOIAF series, but in the past they could afford to miss on a few characters since there were so many other good ones. Here, if they whiff on either of these two actors, or if the two don't have great chemistry, the show is crippled from the start.
Im in for more Game of Thrones series!
This is the way
Quality over quantity.....
I don't think I'd want to see another war of succession. I mean, I'd watch it. But I most want to see further stories of John and Arya.
Yes, Arya was a badass and a spin-off would be great
They going to make babies?
I'm glad he said that there are 8 million stories to tell in New York and many more in Westeors
this is going to be so good i can't wait. Game of thrones was always an epic series
It will be cool to see them jump around in the timeline. I'll do more videos when they release more details!
Idk about ‘always’ but the stuff they adapted from the books was incredible
I can always count on you to be one of the first to have trailers, shows, and movies reviewed!
Thanks!
Dunk and Egg is the most wholesome series.
I LOVE the Dunk and Egg stories and I can't wait to immerse myself in this series! How ironic that after the Season 8 GOT disappointments, I still have higher expectations for top-quality Westeros material in 2023, than I do for Marvel, DC, Star Trek, Middle Earth or Star Wars content.
Ikr those have kinda died out I remember marvel movies were must sees
@@thomasjones4570 My disapointment in season 8 (and to a lesser extent season 7) was rooted in how how horribly rushed it was and how half the writing had done a slow slide into the sewer after they ran out of book material. I always figured Bran was going to be king and that Danny was going to go "mad queen". I just know they needed 3 more seasons and writing closer to the level of GRR Martin to make the case for it.
FACTS! HOTD is actually something I look forward too.
Charlie! I haven't heard your voice in quite a few years. I remember always looking up your channel as soon as GOT played their most recent episode. You helped me get really into the show. Creators have to be so thankful for people like you.
you're welcome!
Honestly crazy excited about this series! We could learn what happened at Summerhall! 🙌
Can’t wait dunk and egg is my fav I hope the show gets into breann being the descendent of Dunkin’ the tall always wondered how his shield ends up with her father
Love the comics, and read them all! Can't wait until this series begins. Epic!
Now we just need the Snow series
Besides season two of HotD, what I want most is an Arya series.
This series contends with the main one, cannot wait for it!!
awesome!
That scene with maester aemond dreaming he was old 😭😭that man was so damn sweet
Before the show comes out I wish they would do an animated book explaining the setup for the story to start, have that be a special release on HBO a few months before the show debuts. Have the actors do the voiceover, like they did for the GoT seasons. Those are awesome.
Poor Kit Harrington. He'll be older than Maester Aemon before the John Snow sequel is green lit! Lol
I'm excited to watch a live action version of that group joust in the Hedge Knight.
It’s been good week since they announced Harry Potter tv series reboot I am excited for the sequel for the game of thorns series
Emergency Awesome this is exciting! I am super excited for anything they add to this lore, Glad G.r.R. Martin is working on more material, I understand his books are great and somewhat ongoing! Thanks Charlie!
I’m from the future. This video is pretty accurate. Keep up the good work. -2031
I too am concerned that this may decrease the chance for the John snow show. However, Iam JAZZED for Dunk ,and Egg. I hope they follow the story all the way through summerhall!
At the rate they are releasing shows we will never have a time where 2 or more GOT shows are on the tv/Internet at the same time
They probably want GoT all year around lol that’s why so many shows… Most fans watch them on Sundays no mater what.
I dont know, i feel like this series isnt gonna focus too much on huge conflicts and rebellions and stuff, i think this show will be more relaxing and much more on a smaller scale to just focus on the companionship of them travelling together and solving smaller in scale conflicts and stories that because of that can be much richer in lore/story wise.
But then again i could see them do flashbacks with rebellions and wars to get a certain narrative across if it helps with the story.
But i dont think they are gonna do any big setpieces/wars/rebellions or anything like that (except for flashbacks).
I think these stories are gonna be much more narrative driven and focus much more on smaller lore bits and pieces but because of them being smaller they are gonna be much more rich in lore/history/story wise.
They should cameo the Pacemaker in here LOL
Wow, exciting, thanks!!!! Also loved A Knights Tale 🙌🏽
9:53 Robert Baratheon behind Alan Tudyk
He also starred in a knight's tale. Deep cut. lol
I really loved the Dunk and Egg tales and was hoping to get more of them.
Wow excited for this! Haven’t read any of the books but love the show, can’t wait to see more 🙌🏼
You can probably find the audio book of knight of 7 kingdoms on CZcams.
Literally starting to become like my favorite CZcamsr I can always count on you for the lore on explaining everything lol
Thanks you so much can't wait!!
No problem!!
Yes more game of thrones prequels
Can't wait to see Dunk and Egg on screen! One of my favorite series.
nice!
2026, can't wait this long. I feel like the years are passing by so fast, I was 11 years old when got season 1 came out
That thumbnail looks amazing.
Oh wow, we’re actually getting Duncan & Egg! Nice!
Man I just wish HBO would leave George alone long enough for him to finish his final books!! I really don’t want to see something happen to him without ever finishing winds of winter and a dream of spring
Thank u
Welcome!
I just wanna see a Long Night/Age of Hero’s Series and maybe an Arya Series of her exploring the world of Planetos; facing stonemen, warlocks, and whatever else🤷🏾♂️
One thing I loved about the GoT series, was the dialogue between characters. The writing was so witty and intriguing. I couldn't tear myself away from any of the scenes. I am looking for this same kind of luring dialogue in ANY upcoming shows or seasons. Unfortunately, as much as I do like HoTD, I was longing for complex dialogue that just didn't happen. I do realize it was most likely because of the zip through time...but I didn't find it as fascinating and capturing. I'd be just fine not ever watching season 1 again. But GoTs? I could watch over and over.
@@thomasjones4570 I agree! It seemed forced and too fast.
I'm calling it charlie is the seven gods of westeroes.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks👍
I don't know why they are so hellbent on a Dunk and Egg series. This was during a very peaceful time in the realm. I rather see Aegon's Conquest. I trust GRRM though. I like Dunk and Egg but I'm just not sure if a lot of people will gravitate towards it because it doesn't have the big action that GOT and HOTD have.
I just got the book. This sounds like it will be good.
Dunk and Egg will be a cooler more grounded Knights Tale and I can't wait
As an older guy I hope I'm still alive to watch.
Need to see the conquest
Really dope video! I apologize for not interacting more. I watch your videos every day and recently went back and watched all of your HotD breakdowns as well. Thank you!
I appreciate that!
Dreams do come true!! This was one of my favorites!
My man's Dunc is coming? Yes!
yep!
This is gonna be cool to watch, Duncon the Tall in real action. Thanks Charlie for the update.
Dunk the lunk, thick as a castle wall. Let's go!!!
I hope they are going to change the introductory music.
this is really cool! Dunc and Aeg are great and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a fantastic book.
Whatever they do within the "Ice and Fire" story ill be there to watch every moment of it!
Im so sprung on this. Its by far the best story universe ever!!!!
Seeing those glimpses of the Red Viper is still so triggering for me, lord have mercy lol.
I am very much looking forward to this series. My faith in HBO's ability to do George RR's work justice has been fully restored by House of the Dragon
Thanks Charlie.
I'm getting the vibe that HBO's long game is to make it so there is always a Game of Thrones show airing, leaving no period of time between active seasons of MANY shows!
I don't care how long they milk it for just as long as its great viewing!!
OR a series about the drowned god, and the greyjoys… that would be pretty cool too.
It's funny you mention A Knight's Tale cause that has Mark Addy (Robert Baratheon) in it.
Love that novel 😊 so happy it's coming to the screen for the people who doesn't read
nice!
"for the people who doesn't read" the irony
@@blaccbeard Who doesn't want to read the book to clarify
@@blaccbeard English could be their second language, you’re ignorant
*Game of thrones was always an epic series. I'm so excited for more sequel*
Woah A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms a Games Of Thrones prequel series wow count me in House of the Dragon and Knight of the Seven Kingdom man I’m loving the GOT Universe I’m jus glad George R. R. Martin is involved with being his stories to life especially to the small screen so I’m hyped for more news about GOT prequel, sequel, and spin-offs. Can’t wait for more breakdowns Charlie.
Charlie we need an update video about this they just released a picture from the shooting of the show showing the 6’5 actor looking amazing
Thanks for the video request, I'll probably do a Knight of the Seven Kingdoms video soon!
@@emergencyawesome I can’t wait 👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
They should have started with these. Stories from the existing lore, and wait with the big bang until the books finish. I think they would be able to sell even more books, if it's the only way to find out about the main story, while you are hooked on the world from the TV series.
I wonder if they’ll wait until he died and paid him a bunch of money for doing it like that. The guy would become legendary, honestly…
Amazing video 👌
Hoping this is more like Game of Thrones seasons 1-6 and not like season 8. 🙏🏽
The action was descent but the story needed work, imho.
I would really prefer they first fix and properly finish the original series in Snow episodes by giving justice to some characters before developing all those extra series.
I'm stoked. But then I'm the artist of the Graphic novels. :D
That’s awesome!
when does this come out?
Id like to see the aftermath of the Dragons bay and others parts in Essos after Daenerys departure. :P
To be fair I don’t know why they need so many spin-offs but man that’s absolutely insane
Dunk and Egg is soooo good! Im hyped!
I really wish we would see a time period passed Game of Thrones, the problem with the series taking place in the past is we largely know the fates of those involved, so it doesn't lend it self well to the Game of Thrones story telling of strategic politics. Game of Thrones was constantly showing how betraying your word, and trusting/mistrusting people was the key to great story telling, and crazy well built moments, you didn't know how someone was going to die so it left you on the edge of your seat. When they re-tell stories like this one, you know Duncan survives until atleast the fourth blackfyre rebellion, you know Egg makes it until he has Aerys and his sister wife. These stories are just medieval fantasy set in the GoT universe instead of what GoT really is (at least in my opinion)
We've always known the fates of the characters. The worst parts of the series are the parts that have NO literature to support them.
@@ouranos0101 although you're correct, its not the full picture. We don't know what people who actually care about the story would do, the two in charge of writing season 7-8 were trying to adapt books that weren't written with little understanding. If people think Brann isn't going to end on the iron throne in the books they're mistaken. George said they would roughly end the same way.
Yay
Since its a type of father and son tale.... I guess Pedro Pascal will play Ser Duncan the Tall xD
This is a well deserved spinoff
george rr martin said he'd been working on it and pitched it to HBO 7 years ago with house of the dragon. They just waited this long to greenlight it to a full series.
A crime fighting duo in westeros .Ariya and The Hound . brilliant
This seems like a very interesting story over time
A knights tale feels like fever dreams
It be so cool if Peter Jackson would direct one episode it’s a big daydream of mine.
I wonder if the show will go into Aegon V reign in future seasons. Mind as well tell his whole story.
I'm so excited. I bought the first two graphic novels of Dunk and Egg and read some of it. Its very entertaining.
