His guides are outdated, I unfortunately bricked my own system today following his guide as well. I'd recommend following Mr. Mario for a safe way to update/install rgh
I deleted my bootanim.xex, so it won't boot into Dashboard. But I can still boot into Xell. And I don't have a back up of my orginal nand. Please help.

It might be a good idea to make an updated video to include RGH3. Love the work please keep helping the rest of us!!! Plus all of the tool links are dead at this point. I cannot find Rawflash V4 anywhere to download.

I patched my dvd drive to devkit.. i figured it would spoof my region, anyways i try to boot my rgh up in xell or even with the power button ive tried EVERYTHING any help?
hello moddedwarfare, i have a RGH2 Tinity Slim i Enabled somthing in dashlaunch follow your tutorial on how to setup like once i restarted the console i relised my rgh wouldn't boot. and tryed xell and that wouldnt boot either. I looked up and it sayed u have to reflash nand with a Jr Programmer so im following this tutorial and i get a error 'Flash Config: 0x00000000'
What is the problem?

My Xbox was corona and the code for RDOD is E79. I have tried your method but the TV goes "no signal" and no process happens because when I restart my xbox it went into RDOD again. PLEASE HELP!! This problem occurs after I tried to update my dashboard into 17511. A bad nand maybe?

I flashed my nand normally and everything and when i went on xell it started doing something to the updflash or whatever and i powered off half way through and when i power up the fan goes really low. Xell doesnt boot but the rgh falcon itself does. I have a backup but i wanna know how to make xell work. Please help

after i got this to work the first time i tried updating my rgh again and the same thing happened. also when i tried using rawflash again to reflash my nand through xell it didn't work it just stays at the screen saying waiting for controller etc. need help!!!
You might want to add a note over this: I was copying stuff from usb to hdd (homebrew and application folders)...using xexmenu and didn't realize that I pasted xell into the root of my internal hdd. It would finally boot/glitch after like 8 hrs then wouldn't for like another 8 hrs. I started combing the internet looking for answers. My chip is an acev3 for xbox 360 e corona 4gb. I had read if it's solid red light with no flashing green on the chip it could be the xgcpu getting ready to rrod. Ok this matched with symptoms because my case fan took out and rrod. I swore though as soon as I caught it I had read enough about rrod and shut it down unplugged it and ordered a fan w/led fan mod. Got it and still problems didn't dissappear. I began researching error codes. Other than the first failed fan/rrod, I had no error codes. Like other users on several forums, I could remove the hdd and it would boot. I cleared the content/cache folders...same thing...removed plugins from dashlaunch...same thing...I took my 360 apart began troubleshooting sata cables, power, led fan mod....finally flashed my nand...I did learn how to successfully flash it! But to the same problem...last time I got it to boot I decided to backup my hdd to 3 Tb usb...formatted the hdd...and HOLY SMOKES IT BOOTED GLITCHED...POWER OFF...BOOT/GLITCH ×5 ...as I was going through my USB:\HDD1 BACKUP\ folder I realized I had xell in the root of my hdd. 12/12 boot/glich under 2 minutes each time! I am betting half the user post I read did the same thing!
All it would do is give a black screen with no green light on the chip. I had read if it doesn't boot/glitch in 5 mins it wont. If you have used xell you know it can take way longer than 5 mins to load...so people push the power button....it will keep doing the same thing with xell in the root of hdd1 with no error codes and no blinking light on modchip...or controller and nothing but a black screen until you remove xell from root!
I had even used xell to try and flash my nand with rawflashv4 in the usb pendrive with xell (the entire time the prob was xell in my hdd1 root)...I wound up using jrunner to build my dumped nand and simple 360 nandflasher to reflash it.
Ok should we help other users? If we don't the modchip/repair buisnesses might make money but if you spent $400.00 on a rgh and it had these problems would you be recomending rgh/jtag to friends? It's giving the chips/buisnesses a bad rap...perhaps something in the xell readme.txt too!

Hey moddedwarfare, I flashed what I'm assuming is a bad KV and now I get nothing when I try to boot my RGH2 (I believe). The coolrunner rev c chip is always red and blinks green once then that's it. I can get into Xell but it always gets stuck at the part with TFTP servers. I don't know what I need to do to fix it, so I thought you might and would be able to help me out?
*EDIT* Nevermind, just did this first thing in the vid (swear I did it at least 5 times before) but either way, it worked.

I can't even dump my nand. It says "SFCX Unsupported type B-0". Do you know how I could possibly fix this and/or what is causing the problem?

hello Master. I tried to update my jtag corona slim 16mb nand x360 and got a bad flash for some reason which I am not really quite sure of. i got an E 79 error and looked up to this tut. My console is actually still able to boot into xell. So I Dled raw flash and I still have my original dumped nand. I followed all the steps, got all the files on the root of a Fat 32 2GB usb stick. then I booted x360 to xell, plugged in the USB, then it read it. But unfortunately, after that word executing something, instead of showing a whole black BG and those numbers, my screen just blacked out showing nothing, and that's it. I presume after the execution, the process was just terminated. Im so confused why. What could be the problem. please help :(

my xell loads but the thing is that i cant get my cpu key through there never i think its becuase of my hhd but it does not extract the file or anything or do anything it just stays the same

Yo, When i plug in usb and boot it in xell, xell is stuck switching betwwen trying sda1,2,3 and no answer from tftp. what should i do?

I load into xell, I have all the files. Xell just does it's normal thing, and stops at "EHCI bus 0 device 1: vendor 4B25 product 7A00 : Mass-Storage Device."
I'm not sure what to do! I just bought this usb, and it worked the first time, but I didn't have the necessary files, so I had to redo it, but not it wont go past that last line.
I haven't got a corrupted nand, I just don't have a backup that has boot animation.xex on it so what do I do?

i need help please reply fast I dumped my nand and put it onto my usb i then went onto xe build but changed the version or whatever cause i thought mine was rgh 2 but it auto went to rgh 1 free boot alyways but this time i but it to rgh 2 and put it oin the usb and went into xell and did the thing to update it or w.e and it wont boot up now at all im not surte whats the problem i tried putting plugins on my usb all that i even took it apart and put back together i can see inside on the chip the chip is a steady read light and a flashing green one it flashes like twice then goes steady green for like 5 -9 seconds then reapets itself i dont no wat ti do xell wont load neither wil my console and i dont get any type of error cause it wont even start i mean it turnts on but no boot or anything

I need help. My xell will boot up but when I put the files on the root of my usb and put my flashdmp and rename it then put it in the jtag I boot up xell but it doesn't work. Xell code stops when it gets to the part where it says xbox 360 controller or something like that

I flashed a kv with flash 360 it finished then when I went to restart xbox it wouldn't restart. Went into xell and tried to flash backup and it didn't work. Now I can't boot into xell. Will this tutorial fix it?

My RGHed xbox360 slim seems to boot only after 3 or 4 hours cycle. Im not sure what s causing this, however when it boots I get like 5 to 6 boots within 15 seconds. Could this method solve the issue ?
Hi my console sometimes glitches whenever I press the Xbox controller and only part of the guide shows up. Sometimes whenever I press Xbox home I get a E 71 error. I haven't done anything to it and it's 2 weeks old.

Xell doesn't load anything past, "EHCI bus 1 device 1: " etc. It just loads to that and then stops. I have both the nand (renamed) and the files on the root of the hard drive and still nothing. Does the drive HAVE to be formated as fat? Mine will only format as NTFS, though I have the option to format it as exFat windows always gives me errors when I try to. Anyone have any thoughts?

Alright, so I rgh 1.2 my falcon with the help if ModdedWarfare and I got everything done. I was in freestyle dash and all the luxurious things. Then when I installed a plugin for Ninja Stealth, my console went poop. It doesnt even go to the logo. It just never glitches. My green debug light still flashes so that means its still trying to. I flashed my original nand back and it booted up just fine. Not sure wtf happened xD

Hey guys i just fixed i was having the same problem of most of you. HERE IS THE FIX. My situation was a bad nand flash, I reflash my backup, put the updflash. bin on usb stick with only that on it. Boot up Xell and it will flash to that. I turned off my xbox after it finished, unplug power cord then plug back in and update was installed! Make sure to unplug usb before booting up your xbox! hope this helps
