I now understand why my parents never let me and my siblings sleep over at people's houses or even go to their homes without them. As a child I was so mad because it seemed like everyone was allowed to go to their friends houses by themselves, but now that I'm 21, I'm so grateful. Unfortunately, the world is a messed up place.

After years of pushing it down, the psychological disassociation and refusal to allow your mind to ever go there it becomes very normal, very habitual to live this way. Because you still carry all the positive emotion toward the abuser you focus all your energies on those emotions. If you accept the negative ones then you have to be ready for the waterfall of stuff that comes crashing onto you. So if you're not ready then you build a dam. I can see perfectly how these guys acted the way they did.... but its so specific to an abused person that its hard to explain to someone looking in because it looks like crazy behaviour. When you finally break the dam, you suddenly are ready to fight for your truth, fight for your life and behaviours, attitudes and everything else does a 180. Sarah Om my pleasure.
Wade Robson was a big MJ fan. always has been. he auditioned for a las vegas tribute to Michael jackson (and quit the job he was working for at that current point in time) because he wanted to be the choreographer for it. he was rejected and shortly after became bankrupt. it was after this that he suddenly ‘remembered’ all that had supposedly happened to him. he tried to sue Michael Jackson’s estate for $1.3 billion and was told by the judge, and i quote, “No rational fact finder could possibly believe Robsons sworn statement”. after losing this case, he now owed MJ’s estate $100k. with him being bankrupt and being at least 100k in debt, he decided to make this documentary. that’s just a little bit on wade robson, there’s also a lot of stuff like the fact that he said he realised he was abused in 2013 but apparently told his mother in 2005.
James Safechuck also said that MJ never allowed his mother to be around them, yet there’s multiple pictures of MJ with safechuck and his mother. i can’t remember he exact details right now but his timeline doesn’t add up at all either.
Evan chandler (father of Jordan chandler) was caught on tape saying he was going to ‘win big’ and extort michael of a lot of money. His own son asked to be emancipated from his parents because evan chandler was threatening him. He committed suicide 4 months after Michaels death.
Gavin Arvizo’s family are basically infamous in hollywood for using celebs and trying to scam them of their money by using pretty much every trick in the book.

"Dan Reed said no financial interest" 😂 they have been trying to sue for 100s of millions..their case is still under appeal.
Safechucks family were being sued nearly a million a few weeks before he saw wade on tv, then he suddenly remembers being abused and makes a claim. Wade even wrote a blog saying he was having problems with his career, mum testified he was having financial problems..wife threatening to leave him.. final straw was when he was turned down by the estate for a job, in his words, wanted badly.. he then tried to shop a book about MJ..."my story of abuse will make me relatable/ relevant"....no one would publish..then he tries to sue the estate! Read their cases. It's all public.
Abusers will abuse at any opportunity. So it's no difference to leaving your child alone with a trusted baby sitter. MJ was a trusted adult to these families, his bedroom was a 2 floor duplex, 3 bathrooms..(bigger than average houses)..whole familes slept in his bedroom. Just like leaving your kid alone at a baby sitters house
If they're going to abuse, they will abuse..difference is, MJ wasn't alone. Read the court transcripts. There's so many myths reported and they have all been proven to be false. Even Wade & Safechuck's recent court case.

This all started because the Chandlers (the initial accusers that we’re paid $22M) extorted Michael and then ran off with their money and weren’t interested in persuing a criminal trial. Who does that? Wouldn’t you wan’t that predator in jail? And no there wasn’t anything from stopping them. Not to mention, there’s tape recordings of the father planning to extort Michael way before he drugged his own son to get him to tell this story. Upon Michael’s death, that same father shot himself. The child also filed emancipation from his parents and no longer wants to be identified. Everyone has has just followed suit on the money train. Smh. This is just making a mockery of genuine survivors.

Sisanda CJ Thanks for mentioning the grooming process! I have been shocked to see that none of the videos I've seen of people discussing this subject have mentioned the characteristics of a pedophile. First, most pedophiles are trusted family members and friends. Some are strangers, but most are close to the family.
Secondly, in order to gain that trust, pedophiles work hard at grooming the families by appearing to be trustworthy, friendly, helpful, loving and generous. That's how they gain access to the children by making the parent believe their children are safe with them.

Kieran Culkin would sleep on this side, Macauley Culkin was on this side, his sisters in there. We all would just jam in the bed, you know. We would wake up at dawn and go in the hot air balloon."
Another suspicious thing that was confirmed by Macaulay and Michaels staff is that there was a bell that announced if anyone was coming close to opening his bedroom door.
Here’s what Macaulay said: “There was like a walkway kind of thing, where if somebody was approaching the door, it would kind of like ‘ding-dong, ding-dong,’” Culkin testified. “When anyone would approach the room, yeah, you’d hear this kind of-soft kind of alarm, like ‘ding-dong’ kind of thing.”

He didn't sleep on the bed with them, he let them take the bed and would himself sleep on the floor, he said it himself in the Bashir documentary. He said that the kids would always ask him if they could sleep with him in his bed, and him being nice and unable to say no to kids would give them his bed. The real question you should be asking is what kind of parents allow their children to sleep in a grown man's bed? The parents who got their kids to do this had their own motive behind it.

@@jennyjennr I get it, normal people don't share a room with children, but Michael wasn't a normal person. He loved children very much and was also very naive when it came to saying no. These children who came to stay with him were most of the time sick or cancer survivors, and they loved Michael a lot, so they always wanted to be close to him. They wouldn't let him get up to go to the bathroom without following him, and so Michael did try to set some boundaries. He said that he would never say no to a child who asked him if they could sleep in his room, but he also wouldn't sleep on the bed with them, he'd take the floor. And to him that wasn't so weird, MJ's brother Jermaine said that that's how him and his brothers were raised, all six of them sharing one room, and so that's how Michael thought of it. Obviously Michael didn't like the children sleeping in his bed all the time, but didn't want to disappoint them and say no to sick children. I just feel that people judge MJ from the standards of a normal man, but what they really should consider is his life, his past, and his personality. First off, no other man is as famous as MJ was, so they wouldn't be in the position of having sick children begging to sleep in their room. Second, MJ basically never had a childhood, he's been working since he was like 8, and didn't have a life or friends or normalcy because of his fame. He was surrounded by adults as a kid, which is why he liked to surround himself with kids as an adult, he connected better with them. And that doesn't mean there's anything sexual about it, I wish people would try to understand MJ a little more, he would never harm a child.

I don't know what happened. I wasn't there. Sometimes victims protect their oppressors, sometimes there is a weird attachment and it takes something and many years to get them to open up about what happened. That could be these two men's cases.
I am very skeptical of these two testimonies however, and i am not an MJ fan. There have been trials and no substantial proof to arrest him. Testimonies from MJ's entourage, even those who had no stake in defending him, are overwhelmingly positive. MJ was "weird", but does not have the profile of a child molester. Child molesters are not eccentrics. They typically mask themselves under a "traditional" veneer to hide their intentions. They wouldn't openly be around children like MJ did. Then again, maybe MJ does not fit this profile because of his exceptional status...
In any case, Michael acted inappropriately when he hung out with children the way he did (even if it was innocent and platonic). The children's parents were wrong to let their children hung out with MJ the way they did. Like Tamera said, as a parent i would not allow that. MJ's entourage/family was wrong. They should have told him to put some safeguards for himself and the children he welcomed in his circle.
i hope that the truth comes out once and for all. In any case, by respect for people and especially victims, I want to stay open to listening these men's testimonies, and will probably watch the docu. However, I'd like an unbiased journalistic piece to be made where all aspects of the cases are represented truthfully. We owe that to all victims first, but also to all accusers (even if they are disingenuous) and all accused (who are sometimes innocent). This principle is about justice and respect for our human dignity.

According to a study of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (1992), pedophile perpetrators are often victims of sexual abuse themselves, their closest adult friends are oftentimes pedophile themselves (Elizabeth Taylor?), most of them have large collections of child erotica (which was not found at the Neverland raids) and so on. Following these ideas, Michael Jackson only very unlikely was a child molester. I don't say that this or any other article is the bible for what a pedophile perpetrator is nor do I defend or accuse Michael Jackson. I would just like to call for more carefulness when making a judgement. Our initial feelings often only scratch a very vague surface which oftentimes does not mirror reality.

Read up on complex PTSD. He was a victim of this unfortunately due to his fathers abusive style of parenting (beating mj everytime he messed up a dance step or something) MJ spoke about wanting to throw up and feeling physicially ill whenever his father was in the room. He also saw his father cheat on his mother, having sex with other women etc etc. MJ was literally a kid at heart and only ever liked older women (Diana Ross, whitney houston etc etc) He looked at kids as pure. You can go back and watch clips of him with children and watch how je interacts with them. He literally adores tf out of them. He holds their little hands, kisses their little cheeks. very protective. He talked about just wanting kids to feel loved since he never got that as a kid. Hence The Neverland Ranch. Where kids can just be kids. He would play with them like they were his literal friends since mike himself never really had friends due to him being a superstar and ppl would take advantage of him so much. Since Sundance and HBO & many other media appear to be more interested in salacious fabrications than actual journalism, let me do it for them. This all started in 1993. There was an attempt by Evan Chandler to procure funds from Michael Jackson to pursue his screenwriting dreams. When Michael does not comply, Evan seeks out a private attorney and publicly makes the accusation that Michael molested his son. He is on tape stating such things as “If I go through with this I win big time. I will get everything I want. It will be a massacre if I don’t get what I want.” His son, Jordan, who lives with his mother, repeatedly denies being molested. However, when he goes on visitation to stay with his father, he changes his story and “admits” he was molested. The police open an investigation. They search Michael’s home as well as his entire body. The boy’s description does not match. The boy says Michael is circumcised, we know from his autopsy that he was not. The police convened two separate grand juries to press charges, but both refused due to lack of evidence. Meanwhile, the civil case is proceeding, and Michael is required to give a deposition. But the district attorney refuses to close the criminal case. Michael's lawyers press the court to delay the civil deposition until the criminal case is closed and the other side presses for it to continue. That's right, the accusers want the civil trial, and Michael the criminal investigation. Let that one sink in. Judge, unfortunately, agrees with the accusers and so, Michael must either give a deposition in the civil case and allow the district attorney to try to build a case around his deposition or he must settle. This takes his right to a fair criminal trial, should one ever occur, away. For example, if he gives an alibi, they can change the dates when they press charges. This happened in 2003, they changed the dates on the charge sheet once they found out on TV that Michael had an airtight alibi. Even the state of California eventually agreed and changed their laws so this cannot happen to anyone again. A defendant should have the right to present their defense for the first time, in a criminal court room. Michael had numerous lawsuits that he was dealing with constantly and the overwhelming majority were settled for practical reasons, this was nothing new. Not long after all of this, Jordan Chandler filed for emancipation from his parents, and I have to say, I can’t blame him. And, oh, by the way, the civil settlement did not stop anyone from continuing the criminal investigation, but I suppose since Evan got his money and Jordan wanted emancipation from his parents, no one cared about the criminal pursuit any longer. Move forward to 2003. Michael appears in a highly slanted documentary made by Bashir where he, at Bashir’s urging, invites a prior cancer victim that he helped up to Neverland for the interview. In the interview, the boy says he and his brother slept in Michael’s bed and Michael and another adult friend of Michael’s on the floor. Media started speculating non-stop on TV that Michael was molesting this child. Both the police and child services begin an investigation. The media is hounding the boy’s family so Michael invites them to stay at a guest house in Neverland for a couple weeks until the media frenzy dies down. The district attorney (same one as from 1993) is out for blood. But he has a problem. For anyone who watches the full, unedited version of this interview and the way they were praising Michael, it would be very hard to believe this boy was molested. So, the story they go to court with as that the molestation occurred after, when the family went back to Neverland. That’s right, Michael has known this child for three years, never molested him, but the police want you to believe that at the height of the world speculating every day on TV that he is molesting this child, in the middle of a police and child services investigation, he suddenly has a realization that he wants to start molesting this child. And then there is the credibility of the witnesses, who previously sewed JC Penny for sexual harassment, who committed welfare fraud, who pursued numerous celebrities for funds, who held fund raisers to pay for medical expenses when they already had insurance, etc. And on the witness stand repeatedly contradicted themselves and each other. It was clear from testimony that only once they were cut out of Michael Jackson’s life, and only once they lost the free ride they were hoping to maintain indefinitely, did they concoct the molestation allegations. And mind you, instead of going to the police they went to the same exact civil attorney that got the 1993 settlement. But as I mentioned above, laws were changed now, and the attorney told them they had to pursue the criminal route prior to the civil route. The list of absurdities that was this case just goes on and on and on. The only reason it got past a grand jury is because the public had at this point been brain washed for 10 years by the media into believing that Michael Jackson is a child molester. Otherwise the grand jury would have given these allegations the same fate two separate grand juries gave the 1993 allegations. Move forward to a few years after Michael’s passing (RIP). Wade Robson is involved in various tribute shows to MJ, continues to praise him in the press, and before he passed, continued to occasionally spend time with Michael. During the 2005 trial, he, among others, testified that Michael never touched them. They were witnesses called by the defense. What abuser would take the risk of calling a witness to the stand, that he had previously abused, a witness that was in no way integral to the defense? It defies all logic. A few years after Michael’s death Wade petitions the Estate to allow him to be the lead choreographer of the Michael Jackson Cirque Du Soleil show. That’s right, he wants to work every day and night, for years, travelling around the world choreographing a tribute to Michael. He even tells the press he got the job. But the Estate decided to give the job to someone else. Once a choreographer for acts like Britney Spears, his career appears to be on the skids. So, what does he do? He sues Michael Jackson’s estate for child molestation. Notice the same pattern with the prior accusers, then want ‘in’ and only once they are cut ‘out’ do they make molestation accusations. The amount of inconsistent statements and contradictions in the lawsuit are overwhelming, including such blatant lies as Wade claiming he did not know about the existence of the MJ Estate until immediately prior to filing his lawsuit, even though he is on camera and in emails discussing and asking the MJ Estate for the lead job on Michael Jackson Cirque Du Soleil shows. His lawsuit is thrown out of court. So, what does he do then? Has HBO and Sundance give him airtime to share his “story”. In regards to Safechuck, he jumped in on Wade’s lawsuit once he heard about it for what I’m sure he hoped would be an easy payday. If you read Safechuck’s allegations he appears to have copied them from a book from the 1990’s entitled “Michael Jackson was my Lover” written by Victor Gutierrez, who thanks NAMBLA in his book and who was successfully sued by Michael Jackson for defamation for close to $3 million. Gutierrez fled the country and did not pay. Sadly, there are no defamation laws to protect the deceased, which is why Safechuck and HBO can now air this nonsense. I’m certain that none of this will be covered in the documentary. No, instead we will get salacious claims from discredited individuals and they and Sundance and HBO will all make their profits at the expense of a man who is no longer here to defend himself. Shame on all of them. Anyone who wants to copy/paste and post this elsewhere, please feel free to do so. In summary all he did was love children... all the children.. poor, sick, innocent.
It was his passion and then his greatest challenge
He did more than sleep with children
      Care for them
Donated to their charity even in death
      Visited them in hospital
How about the boy with liver issues...
Don't consider one act... look at the pattern....
Then look at the story... how can the mother say she rejoice at MJ's death... while her son said he did not tell any one till lately... please......
How do you get repeatedly molested in a train station that did not exist...

I can't believe you guys are in on this. Even after his death, people are still ready to reap some $$$ from the dead? Are we this callous and whimsical? FBI cleared Micheal after 10 years of investigation. Why now? How do people feel in their lies and contradiction.
The Bible says everyone lies to their neighbours. I hope they don't look for a priest to confess their lies on their death beds, because the priest can't go public.
Some parents could be so terrible. Encouraging their kids to lie because of 💰 💰 💰.
Wondering what happened to the human conscience.
Note by those of you seeking money under false accusations, that there's karma. There are generational sins, hope you're ready to pay the price and also sacrifice your grand and great-grandchildren's destiny.
The sins of the father shall be visited unto the children and grandchildren till 4th generation.
We hope your offsprings don't come in the future shedding some coconut tears on behalf of your greed and lies.

I'm one of those people whose parents never let them sleep over. My parents never even let me sleep over at family's house, except my grandmas. I had to call them the minute i got home from school, in HS. I couldn't stay home alone until I was 14. They were over protective and I'm glad they were. I'm the same with my daughter. There's so much evil in this world, you never know who's plotting. Always remember these stories if your kids beg you to be more lenient with these conditions. Always stay vigilant, never let your guard down.

People have to come to terms with abuse in their own time, I’m sure going through those trails was devastating for those men and made them push it down further. I believe them for sure.

THANK YOU Julia !!!!!!! If you look at the face of second victim James during the Oprah interview that is a man who is really suffering and in complete mental anguish. These 2 VICTIMS are incredibly brave. I LOVE Michael Jackson, bought the records, spent 12 hours practicing the 'Thriller' dance moves when I first saw 'The Making of Thriller' at the age of 12, and went to see him live in 93 on his Dangerous Tour when I was in my 20's. I'm devastated and disgusted by the new allegations but I have to come to terms that Michael Jackson the 'King of Pop' was a paedophile !!! We were conned by an ICON ! I feel so bad for his other victims like Jordan Chandler who was vilified and abused twice, first by Michael Jackson and second by the public.

I’ve heard the worst question you can ask your child after you pick them up from a friends is, “were you good?” Because if something bad happened that child may think you know and that you support it. You should always ask them if they felt happy whilst they were there. And several other signs to look out for!

Wow, I am so thankful that she told her story about abuse because she understands how those men feel that we’re abused by Michael Jackson. Jeannie thank you!!! We just had the same happen in our family. The abused person didn’t speak about it until she was 35 and the whole family would have never guessed her stepdad had been abusing her for so long. They looked normal and he practically brainwashed/groomed her into thinking it was normal for so long and we asked her why she never spoke up even when her mom asked if the step dad was abusing her and she said she truly believed he loved her but now after listening to a sermon at church about sexual abuse to children she decided it was the right time to speak up. It’s all crazy how the mind works in protecting oneself from horrible abuses.

Jeanie I feel you. I was molested by my own biological father. My mother died when I was 8. I told my step mother by writing her a letter. She tried to commit suicide, and was unsuccessful. After that incident, my father continued and I told my cousin after she found me crying. That’s how the abuse finally stopped. My family has never talked about this. My father died in 2007 before I could confront him and ask him why. My older sister and cousins were being sexually abused by him on a daily basis. Today we are all messed up.

People wonder why people wait so long to say something, and then ask where is the evidence. There are many reasons people don't say anything. It takes years to build up courage to tell just one person. It takes strength to be able to tell what happened to a person who was not involved. It takes strength to not recant one's story when the questions start coming and attention is given to the situation. By the time one has the courage to speak up, the evidence is usually gone.
