Unsure why some videos contain English subtitles but newer ones don't. I'd love to see what your thoughts are on this as from the video it looks good.

Whether you like this model or not. You definitely get more bang for your buck since these kits are way bigger and have much more than MG Gundams at $50.

The kits equipment looks like it took inspiration from Geminass. But in general it looked a bit lacking than their last 2 releases, looking at Ruling that has a lot of missile hatch and multiple equipment and ID's Genesis that can Transform, then still no pilot hatch in this one sadly. The only thing I can see good comparing from them is that this kit is optimized for posing due to the simplicity of the build, probably why they didn't bother releasing a metal parts on this one. I also heard that this kit is cheaper than their last release, so kudos to the company that gives a fair price based on what the kit is giving to you.
just like hunting falcon ,simple inner frame, but still great when u put the armor, solid.
and for me who dont care about inner frame , i like how SNAA move the budget into armor details & better mold 😅

I'm not really sold on the colors. If I had a painting setup then I would definitely repaint the kit. However, the model itself looks great.

Yep similar here the colors are no the best, but I got the Ruling and it was a great kit. So I hope this one is the same, thinking maybe will try to repaint this one. Next project.
I hope In Era do this in their kits, where they would release a Standard version (for those who can't afford the metal frame) and then release the Metal frame version
their first product genesis were total flop with the plastic frame so ruling they made it metal frame and probably learn what to do and to not do with plastic frame and trailblazer is the result
@@Sqee_Lambert I get your point. A loose frame can be easy to fix if you are a experienced builder, but for some it can be a problem
@@Sqee_Lambert I just finished genesis I had minor issues with loose joints but I found a remedy apply a slight bit of super glue to the joints female ports let it dry & wala they should be tight as ever.
Awesome & cool MS design, look much better than most Gundam design.
for a $30 kit this is great tbh
So far I'm working on Genesis as I type this & I also own E-Ruling & I pre ordered Trailblazer Infinite dimensions/In+Era/Super Nova use to make resin kits now they stepped into the model kits I have no complaints so far with building & painting Genesis these designs are awesome & original can't wait to see what they release in the future!
Not a fan of the color, but will gladly paint it when it arrived 😊

It's got many similarities with Moonlight Judgment.
Love almost everything about the kit except for the shin guards, they disrupt the entire look. Color isn't great but I'll custom paint it anyways.

The kit looks good overall technical imperfections aside. The color is not a problem but my god I'll be honest, that pointy shin armor really ruins the kit's look entirely.

Only disappointment is the stand compared to Ruling and Genesis, overall quality is so much better than some official brand and not to mention majority is undergate.

Eclipse Gundam has a better design than this imho, so it's more like, the Eclipse was ranked down into this.

I was really interested in the kit before the colored prototype was revealed. The color scheme is atrocious, nothing about it gives of the impression of a trailblazer and it really highlights all the issues of the design. Its level of articulation would barely be acceptable for a bulky highgrade, but definitely isn´t for 1/100 kit.
From what i heard this was supposed to be there attempt at a full mechanics (re 1/100) level kit. Why the hell did they try this? I don't really care if a kit has a full inner frame but there is a reason that the line is incredibly unpopular. You can probably count all the kits in the line, that most people actually like, on two hands. Most of the lines best kits are basically oversized highgrades. They probably thought that this would be there version of the full mechanics calamity gundam. But half the reason why it is so popular is that it poses well unlike most of the kits in the line.
I don’t see how it’s articulation is not acceptable as it has more articulation than most bandai MGs and also has a pretty good ab crunch at that that can actually hold the whole kit

The big problem with the articulation is the knee bend. It just barely manages to bend more then 90 degrees and at this size that just isn´t acceptable.
I get that the leg design is pretty messy but even bulky hg kits mange to get out more and this design cud have aswell, if they had just put in a little more effort when choosing the places at which the knee bends. In the case that wasn´t enough they cud have made it so that the sticking out part of the back thigh can push up and inwards to allow for more room. A pull out knee joint would have also done it.
The ab crunch is barely noticeable because it only bends at the mid section and does not bend at the waist swivel. Most mgs with poor forward crunches have better side crunches to make up for that. While most bandai mg don´t have this, i don´t think it is to much to ask for kits of this size to have torso joints similar to the one on the rg nu gundam as that design is simple, sturdy and doesn´t seem to have a problem with back weight. Its just mind boggling that this design isn´t used more often, we have had it atleast since the mg astray kits from 2009.
The shoulder joints inside the torso also barely move.
The elbows while acceptable shut be able to bend more, its just going to be frustrating as it is.
While its hard to tell without a ground test, the ankle joint also seems pretty limited, although the action base helps to mitigate that problem.
You can see from the video that the kit really struggles with getting in any pose where its legs aren´t lightly splayed out with the knees only slightly bent.
