One thing I wish I had during my past recent stay is a small portable electric hot pot for hot water. That way I could have drank coffee or tea at all crazy hours!

I missed not having that during this stay. I had to bother the staff for hot water for my tea bags during this stay

It's so crazy how you upload a hospital list when...just recently I had to send my mom to ER and she's currently having a stay there.... 😔 In the midst of the stress from dealing with this, watching videos on CZcams is soothing to me. I hope all is well.

I never saw anyone carry a lint roller to the hospital! Don’t ever change! 😘 Praying for your mind to be at ease, and that they can figure out a good solution for the medication. I’m going in on the 19th for more tests. I know it’s nervewracking. 💜

A POEM INSPIRED BY “THIS WELL-PLANNED LIFE” PACKING FOR THE HOSPITAL
I
You are ready to rock and roll/
At the hos-pit-ole.
Saving beauty samples for the hos-pit-ole
Is the way to go!
You look and feel beautiful/
Like an old-time movie star
Who lived in better days/
For beauty and feelin’ like a diva
In the hos-pit-ole.
III
I soon will go to the hospital - -
And will be bringing my French face mask.
All the pain, the permanent scar, the sore throat,
The inability to eat and chew and swallow
Will be worth it because of that mask.
Slippers are my need/
May they fall into my lap
As I am poor
From all the medical expenses
Which greedy firms jack up the prices to make themselves rich.
And we low-paid, innocent people, the rest of us, are hard-working but oh-so-poor.
The white males say we’re lazy.
May they suffer from this unconscionable thought for we work harder than them!
It will be my turn to look down on you - all greedy, self-superior males - when this is over!
III
Cheetos. Cheetos, you say! - O woe is me!
I can’t have them or look at them or eat them --
And that is my tragedy
At the hos-pit-ole!
Hopefully in two weeks,
A Cheeto will be handed to me by a kind stranger
Marking the commencement of life’s little pleasures
Creeping back on little cat feet
For for my soul
In that one little Cheeto.
Followed by a homemade brownie with brownie frosting,
All made with cocoa.
Then a glass of milk. Cold. Very cold and refreshing.

This was a really good video. Hospital stays can be extremely trying so having your favorite items with you does help. I pray everything goes well and that you start feeling better soon.

this well plan life, I have depression also because of lack of sleep since I'm 13 age but now is better I read Bible King James version and I'm a Protestant religion.....as a Christian I believe Jesus is risen God forever......you too God will help you......God will heal you....you will feel better by read Bible king James version..have a well plan life forever.....

I have Ventricular Tachycardia and I went in for a treatment option which included trying a medication that required hospitalization. If all went went, as it did, I am able to take the meds at home to help with my palpitations
