WHAT IS IT, THAT YOU MISS....
What is it, that you miss....
is it the touch of these hands?
The shared walks in the woods,
simplicity works for me.
Blue jeans, tee's & hikin' boots,
I was never satin & lace.
Promise's made in the dark,
took the light to bring in focus.
I almost lost sight of....
Endless stars & night sounds,
want'n to see forever, the....
moonlight dancin' on your body.
Tried hard not to walk away,
inevitable.
I felt your heartbeat strong,
almost captured....
this simple rezgal.
These hands would have held you,
alil' longer....
as I tried hard, not to walk away.
But....
the stars grew endless,
and the night sounds called;
& I knew I was,
home....
....

Days Gone By
Lust…followed by a night of passion, yet not complete,
Young love forever encased in it’s moment of time,
A second chance at fulfilling a wanting desire, a need, a destiny,
Confused by the emotions of days gone by.
The embers of a fire never to extinguish, never to fade
But waiting to set everything in it’s path ablaze.
A stolen moment, her kiss still tingles his lip,
Still leaves them trembling by the mere thought of her.
His heart races so fast, that he feels as though it will explode
Time can not take away from something that was meant to be,
Something that hopes and dreams, will forever keep possible.
Something that young love will never forget
Nor the passing of time will ever lessen
For what is meant to be, shall always find it’s way.
