- Shirdi Sai Baba (c. 1830 -- October, 15th 1918) is one of India's greatest and most beloved saints. He is an incarnation of Shiva and a Dattatreya avatar, as well as Sri Kaleshwar's master. Revered in India as Yogi Raja, the King of Yogis, Baba possessed the highest supernatural capabilities. Though he could have lived like royalty, Baba spent his entire life as a mendicant, begging alms in the tiny village of Shirdi in Maharshasta State.
Countless wonders were demonstrated by Baba during the course of his lifetime including giving sight to the blind, healing the incurably sick, rescuing devotees from dangerous situations, changing water into oil, appearing in different places at once, and also dying and coming back to life after three days. Through his unique, one-on-one style of working with those who came before him Baba called for tolerance and peace between all people. His message also placed primary importance on strong devotion to God and dedicating oneself to humanity through service.
Protection, guidance and miraculous healings continue to flow from Baba in ever growing abundance. Just as he did when he was in his physical body, Baba develops a deeply personal relationship with each of his devotees and becomes a vital presence in their lives. Shirdi Sai Baba is a grandfather to the entire planet, forever working to uplift and unite all of humankind. Simply take one step towards Baba and he will take 99 towards you.

" It happened: One of the most beautiful persons of this past century was Sai Baba of Shirdi.
He had a friend and a follower. Sai Baba was a Mohammedan. Or no one knows whether he was a Mohammedan or a Hindu, but he lived in a mosque, so it was believed he was a Mohammedan. And a Hindu follower was there, who loved, respected, has much faith in Sai Baba. Every day he will come for his darshan, and without seeing him he will not go. Sometimes it will happen that for the whole day he will have to wait, but without seeing he will not go, and he will not take food unless he has seen Sai Baba.
Once it happened the whole day passed, there was much gathering and much crowd - he couldn’t enter. When everybody has gone, just in the night he touched the feet.
Sai Baba said to him, “Why you unnecessarily wait? There is no need to see me here, I can come there. And drop this from tomorrow. Now I will do. Before you take your food you will see me every day.”
The disciple was very happy. So next day he was waiting and waiting; nothing happened. Many things happened really, but nothing happened according to his conception. By the evening he was very angry. He has not taken the food, and Sai Baba has not appeared so he went again. He said, “You promise and you don’t fulfill?”
Sai Baba said, “But I appeared thrice, not even once. First time I came, I was a beggar and you said to me, ‘Move away! Don’t come here!’ Second time I came I was an old woman, and you just won’t look at me; you closed your eyes-because the disciple had the habit of not seeing women; he was practicing not seeing women, so he closed the eyes.
Sai Baba said, “I had come, but what do you expect? Should I enter your eyes, closed eyes? I was standing there, but you closed the eyes. The moment you saw me, you closed the eyes. Then third time I reached as a dog, and you won’t allow me in. With a stick you were standing in the door.”
And these three things had happened. And these things have been happening to whole humanity. The divine comes in many forms, but you have a prejudice; you have a pre-formulated conception; you cannot see. He must appear according to you, and he never appears according to you. And he will never appear according to you. You cannot be the rule for him and you cannot put any conditions.
When all imagination falls, only then truth appears. Otherwise, imagination goes on making conditions and truth cannot appear. Only in a naked mind, in a nude, empty mind, truth appears, because you cannot distort it."

This music is the sound of pure love and devotion. I watched it yesterday, and had it in the mind all day, and then just watched it again. Both times I couldn't make it to the end of the video without tears. The lyrics are short, but true and sung with reverence. It's one or the best songs I think I've heard. Thank you 🙏 🕉 Sai Ram

In the description of Sai, probably the most astounding fact that he died and came back to life after 3 days???? What? That's Jesus Christ! Jesus performed the same miracles, lived a frugal life, healed the sick, turned water into wine etc etc. The description of Sai Baba sounds like the 19th century Jesus to me. I'm just blown away by all the similarities! Nice music in this video :)

From what I understand, Sai Baba is Avatar of God Himself. My Spiritual Teacher Ra connected me to Shirdi Sai Baba and now Shirdi Sai Baba helps me all the time. All we need to do is connect to Him mentally , - think about him. He is very open to every one)))
jesus, buddha, hanuman, sai baba, are all one, all the same.
God is omnipresent which means that he can be in infinite forms at the same time. So Jesus, Allah(no form), Krishna, Rama, Sita, Hanuman, Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Parvati, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Shirdi Sai Baba etc., are all just different forms/names for same God.

why are these people singing jay- jay _UH_ sai? Ive heard some indians chant it that way in the darshan que but that is a whole new sound that is not in the mantra. Om Sai Ram Om Sai Jay Jay Sai! may the teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba be preserved and not changed in such a short time!
I know it's been a long time since you wrote,but it's not 'UH' but 'Ya Sai', like how Sai baba first got called Sai,. "Ya Sai"
