- PIÑATA is an object in the shape of an animal, cartoon characters etc. filled with candies and toys and is broken as a part of a party or ceremony. It is hung up at parties and children hit it with sticks or pull the string to break it open and release the treats. In the Philippines, Piñata is a modern version of pokpok palayok or pabitin.

I apologise for the late reply. just slide the crepe paper a little bit while attaching it to the piñata. to get that crimpled look.
