Zwölferkreuz: Panoramagipfel im Martelltal, Vinschgau, Südtirol - aussichtsreich, anstrengend aber einfach
Es gilt 1.400 Höhenmeter hoch und wieder runter zu gehen.
Start ist der Parkplatz in Burgaun (980 m) oberhalb von Goldrain.
Das erste Stück ist asphaltiert auf Weg Nr. 14 (Brontaweg).
Danach geht es in den Wald, wo man im Anschluß auf einem ersten Hochplateau herauskommt.
Nach rund 900 Höhenmetern erreicht man die Morterer Alm auf 1908 Metern ( / 100063640266479 .
Von da aus sind es "nur" noch ca. 500 Höhenmeter.
Nach der Morterer Alm erreicht man am Felsenwegweiser ein weiteres Hochplateau.
Danach geht es weiter hoch bis zum nächsten Hochplateau mit dem Wegweiser 14A Zwölferkreuz/ 14 Hasenohr. Hier folgen wir 14A und erreichen dann den Gipfel des Zwölferkreuzes.
Hier hat man eine wunderbare Panoramaaussicht auf weitere Berge im Martell- und Ultental (Hasenohr, Laaserspitze/Orgelspitze) sowie auf der anderen Seite der Stilfserstaatsstraße (Vermoispitze).
Dazu kann die Orte Goldrain, Latsch, Kastellbell-Tschars, Naturns und Partschins sehen.
Hier kann man einen Augenblick im Gras verweilen und das Panorama genießen, da hier recht wenige Menschen hochkommen....
Danach geht es wieder abwärts.
Beim Abstieg zur Morterer Alm kann man auch eine Variante auf der anderen Seite des Brandnerbachs wählen.
Im Anschluß geht es den gleichen Weg zurück.

There are 1,400 meters of altitude to climb and descend.
Start at the parking lot in Burgaun/Burgone (980 m) above Goldrain/Coldrano.

Then it goes into the forest, where you come out on a first high plateau.
After around 900 meters in altitude, you reach the Morterer Alm at 1908 meters ( / 100063640266479 .
From there it is "only" about 500 meters in altitude.
After the Morterer Alm, you reach another high plateau at the rock signpost (14 Zwölferkreuz / 14A Hasenohr).
From there you can also see the Zwölferkreuz.
Continue on trail no. 14 to reach the summit of the Zwölferkreuz.
Here you have a wonderful panoramic view of other mountains in the Martell and Ulten valleys (Hasenohr, Laaserspitze/Orgelspitze) and on the other side of the Stelvio State Road (Vermoispitze).
You can also see the villages of Goldrain, Latsch, Kastellbell-Tschars, Naturns and Partschins.
Here you can linger for a moment in the grass and enjoy the panorama, as very few people come up here....
Then it's downhill again.
On the descent to the Morterer Alm, you can also choose a variant on the other side of the Brandnerbach stream.
Afterwards you return the same way.

Sono 1.400 metri di salita e discesa.
Si parte dal parcheggio di Burgone (980 m) sopra Coldrano.
Il primo tratto è asfaltato sul sentiero n. 14 (Brontaweg).
Il sentiero si addentra poi nel bosco, dove si sbuca su un primo altopiano.
Dopo circa 900 metri di altitudine, si raggiunge la Morterer Alm a 1908 metri ( / 100063640266479 .
Da qui si sale "solo" di circa 500 metri.
Dopo la Morterer Alm, si raggiunge un altro altopiano presso il cartello roccioso.
Si prosegue poi fino al successivo altopiano con il cartello 14A Zwölferkreuz/ 14 Hasenohr. Qui si segue il 14A e si raggiunge la cima dello Zwölferkreuz.
Da qui si gode di una splendida vista panoramica sulle altre montagne delle valli Martell e Ultental (Hasenohr, Laaserspitze/Orgelspitze) e sull'altro versante della statale dello Stelvio (Vermoispitze).
Si possono vedere anche i villaggi di Goldrain, Latsch, Kastellbell-Tschars, Naturns e Partschins.
Qui ci si può soffermare un attimo sull'erba e godersi il panorama, dato che sono pochissime le persone che salgono su .....
Poi si scende di nuovo.
Durante la discesa verso la Morterer Alm, si può scegliere anche una variante sull'altro lato del torrente Brandnerbach.
Poi si ritorna per la stessa strada.
