- We headed over to the Model World Live event at the NEC in Birmingham which covered railways, model planes, boats and Radio controlled trucks. A superb show for many areas of the hobby world to enjoy.

Bigger space, less crowded than the great electric train show. Amazing layouts and displays. Keeps kids entertained - best show of the year.
This is like a show I have been to in Belgium a few times Far better than just model railways, you can learn a lot from the model aircraft, ship and diorama modellers
Thanks for a great video Tris. I've visited the show too and it was a great place to be. Sorry that I've missed you, would have been great to meet in real live. So maybe next time, as our club is thinking of taking part in next years edition. Take care and looking forward to your next videos and builds.

thank you for showing, some really great models, im glad we didnt drive 250 miles to see that. it might be nice if you introduced the model railways as you showed them, maybe talked a bit about what youre looking at, but it was interesting. what is noticable is just how pristine all these ralways are! railways have never been pristine! thanks for shoing this
Great video! I hope you enjoyed the show, I certainly had a great time. Lots of more interactive elements such as the inglenook puzzle and wws scenics make and take stands. It was nice to meet you and have a chat.

Great blog Tris, did you notice the PA was so much more clearer than in Hall 5 for the Warley Show 😂😂. I couldn’t make it but will be with 82G during the year.

I hope you enjoyed the variation on display.
They do these type of cross discipline/interest shows very well, particularly in Germany.
As an individual who just enjoys building models without sticking fastidiously to one area, I hope these types of shows expand and congratulations the Key Publishing and their endeavours for taking the first step (of recent times) to bring the format back.
I say recent times as the last mixed discipline/interest area show I remember was in Manchester in about 1986/87, invariably there will have been many others on a smaller scale since.
Ive built lots of different model types in my time - not nearly enough imho😮😅 - and its always refreshing to see multidiscipline work. Thanks for taking us along Tris, I dont get out much, it means a lot✌️😊💜
Also nice to see Richard and Dan - I must engage Dan to do a bit for me (if life didn't keep getting in the way)✌️😊💜

Great video looks like a really interesting show. I used to go to the Brighton model world show before it shutdown which was similar. Great way to get ideas from other parts of the modelling hobby for your own interest. I like the fact that you have shown the traders as well, makes the show video more interesting.

Very enjoyable experience. This is something that I have wanted to do with our model railway club for a while , but it would appear that they only want to do model railways! More appeal with a variety of models, hence larger audience I would think. Thank you for posting 🎉
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get there but now I feel like I have been. Mojo is interesting, you and Eric have both said this week that it’s a challenge. Also echoed my own situation due to time and one specific job I don’t want to do. I feel enthused now
