It's just amazing that a documentary of this quality is uploaded on CZcams for free. My children loves learning about the ocean and the environment, and this channel really gives them something to focus on, rather than their smartphones.
I definitely agree...🙂
The only thing that matters is ChewbaccaMom, documentaries are stupid. So are documents
@@seltonk5136 well if you think it is so stupid why did you go through the time to type this out and send it?
I completely agree
I hope CZcams can teach your children English
1:07 im crying, i love how dramatic the editing is LMAO the turtle said GULP.
Who ever took these wonderful shots truly deserves an Oscar.
My thoughts exactly. I've always wondered how the get all the footage they do from all these animals while managing to not become some Mtn. lions lunch, how long it takes, etc. Takes a special type of dedication that's for sure. It's gotta be an incredibly awesome job to have.
NatGeo has been a part of my entire life: the books, the photos, the films have enlightened, educated, intrigued and amazed me for 70 years! I cannot thank all those who who helped make me who I am today enough. Carry On!!!
NatGeo is a true treasure that has played a crucial role in shaping
just about every thinking person's view of the world

I love seeing that turtle face peeking out of the sand. It's a miracle that they make it to the
Sea. Wish they all could.
It’s the circleeee of liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiffeee
Yess
Just watching this I dont think the ordinary person realize how much planning, time and resources go into a production like this
It’s tough in the streets for a young turtle 🐢
Saying just 'thank you' isn't enough for your National Geographic Team. Specially trained passionate individuals are risking their lives to capture the stunning feats of marine creatures (also wild animals on land). In Every Documentary there is so much to learn, I am so impressed, learned and addicted. With your permission, I would like to use some of the clips and images to make a presentation concerning 'Climate Change.' Thank you once again.
mmm hmm

Claims on Climate change is full of lies to create a authoritarian govt to control you. they disrespect the perfect maker.

It's so amazing to see how they fight with nature 😭😭
Everything in the ocean with of animals 🐋🦭🦈🐟🐳 are AMAZING 😁
Imagine I'd nobody fished the ocean for 1 year.
8 years ago on playa hermosa in Costa Rica I volunteered at a turtle reserve during the hatching period. We'd get these little guys from their protected hatching spots, in a fenced off area of the beach. Then we'd just chuck them close to the waterline. Dogs kept the vultures away but apparently they still have a really hard time surviving. Pretty special experience but my favourite was seeing the big turtles come onto the beach and cry when laying their eggs. We'd patrol the beaches with the dogs and dig up their eggs to bury them where the rangers could keep them safe from poachers. I still dream about that week. There was a tropical storm going on the whole week but I absolutely loved it.
Thank you so much for uploading this. And for free! Incredible documentary. 💗
❤❤❤
I absolutely love nature documentaries especially anything narrated by David Attenborough. 2 of my sons have actually began watching them with me. I hope I've passed that love onto them. Thank you Nat Geo for posting this for free. I'd much rather spend my time watching this than anything on cable TV! ️
I loved how this documentary started and ended in my lovely country Costa Rica. It´s amazing how our little country can be involved in hundreds of lives among the turtles than come here to lay eggs and how they return back as when you return back to the city or place you were borned and raised after a long time. Those memories cannot be erased from us, even in nature.
Great analogy, couldn't agree more.

Pura vida mae!!! Saludos de un Colombiano :)
How they film that so close without interfering??? Amazed !!!
I would guess it's a combination of super telephoto lens and carefully placed remote /sensor activated video cameras, similar to wildlife cameras that you see on trails but with very high resolution. Drones/remote controlled buggies are also not out of the question, but they would be a bit more invasive. If they used any drones it would likely be very small ones on wheels or tracks. I've seen a few videos where they dress up a robot as an animal of the same species with a hidden camera + robotics inside. This is something that is commonly used to observe animal behavior without interfering. I recommend you check out the behind the scenes footage from some of the planet earth series videos. They explain a lot of that stuff.
Bear grylls did a great job. This documentary was amazing!
I know it's still a long hard road ahead but anytime I see baby sea turtles hit the water it gives me hope for them
I didn’t know that Bear did these. He did a great job. No one can ever replace David Attenborough.
You are absolutely right. But the mighty voice tone of Bear is better than David Attenborough . 🙄
No matter how much she tried
She never gave up
And was able to continue her life at sea
This episode was by far one of the best documentaries I ever seen! Thank you for uploading this 💕
K that mating scene was traumatic lol
Those crocodiles are quite amazing :3
if you see this comment, thank you that we were born and live together on this wonderful planet, hope that my words will please at least some people, these are all Whatever I want and have in this life, I wish you lots of health and joy 💓💓
Interesting watching such creatures walking and swimming around.
I cant get enough of these documentaries I would watch dem night n day
Thank you
watching the turtle reach the water brought so much relief. at least that one made it.
To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life !!
This video shows how well people are doing on our earth and how we are slowly destroying them.. God please protect all living beings on this earth. thank you National geographics for this breathtaking video 🙏
This started out adorable, but hated the turtle babies had to meet their fate. If I was there I would have tossed as many of them in the ocean as possible. Beautiful segment.
Survival and trying to continue life is independent of its quality, but for greedy people, the quality of life is more important than life itself
lovee documentary so much .but ocean kind of give me anxiety..those deep n dark kind of scare me..still manage to watch this until the end
The voice, the colour grading, the editing sound everything is way perfect , it's like a movie !!
Bro who is recording this ?? They are a pro
That's makes you realize how unfair this life is, Total chaos, Unequal distribution of life.
Well I Must Say thanks to Nat Geo For Uploading This Documentary for Free. I Enjoyed it to the Fullest. The Hostile Planet gave me life lessons other than our Forefathers Gave. Nat Geo Worked Hard to make This Documentary. At the End our Purpose should be to preserve the Ocean Ecosystem and Let it Grow
The opening scene with the baby turtles...just like the beginning of every Dark Souls game
Just seen a shark get jumped by some seals, this is quality entertainment.
One of my favourite documentaries hands down. Such good production, narration and information. Seeing God’s nature is truly a blessing 🙏🏾
Yes you are right and that is amazing
I like how the green sea turtle was like fine you ain’t getting off of her well I’m gonna ride you haha
what a legendary film ! the quality , the scenes absolutely everything is stunning and the best thing is I LOVE Bear Grylls ❤easily one of the best documentarys ive ever seen ❤
That's so amazing and unbelievable, i can't believe i can see that beautiful, wonderful life in ocean
The ways of life, hunting and survival in the wild life have been created in a strange philosophical way and in harmony with every animal
Yesss something to watch as I smoke this blunt.
One of my favourite documentaries hands down. Such good production, narration and information. Seeing God’s nature is truly a blessing
I loved how the documentary showcased my beautiful Costa Rica at both the beginning and the end. It's remarkable how our small country is a crucial part of the lives of hundreds of turtles that come here to nest and then return to the ocean. It's akin to revisiting your hometown after a long absence-those memories are deeply ingrained, even in nature 🥰
Love how this sarted with my country, South Africa.❤️
Got me rooting for there little turtles like GO MATE GOOOOOO!
The nature and wildlife of the deep oceans are much richer and more spectacular than the land of the earth, and unfortunately, they are much more destroyed by humans.
Nat Geo is something I love watching everyday. The shots, the narrating, the animals, the information like bro. I'm in love
This episode was by far one of the best documentaries I ever seen! Thank you for uploading this
Planet Earth showed how some of those penguins get injured it was insane to watch.
props to the cameraman who made it possible to watch this
Every video on this channel is how amazing it is this is for free on CZcams lol
Such a WONDERFUL documentary. Great details and amazing scenes.
mom should lay the eggs a little closer to the water.
at this rate we will soon have an evolved creature capable of holding nuclear power
It always satisfying and sad when I watch these documentaries. It hurts knowing that humans will be the end to all on this Beautiful Earth...
It's an eye-opener, revealing the resilience and beauty of life in the most extreme conditions. The technology used elevates it to a new level, capturing breathtaking scenes and unveiling animal behaviors never seen before. Truly amazing!
Watching for my science class
I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THE TURTLE💘🐢💘❤THANKS FOR SHARING 😪BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER❤🍵🍵💘👍✌✌
Imagine if people had to live as animals do, having tough environments to try and survive in. There'd be a lot fewer of us

Dramatic Narration Picture Perfect Quality & Sound, Makes this Episode A Must Watch Documentary❤
it’s so beautiful but yet so sad, at same time we’re destroying our environment whilst learning about it
An excellent film for us as global viewers let alone it acts as educational benefit for our next generational curiosity, thank you 🕊️🕊️🕊️ ✌️!
Has to go on a kayak now, good imitations.
I get SOOOOO excited when a new NAT GEO DOC DROP ☔☔☔☔☔☔, you GUYS are SOOOOO WAVEY with your product 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Those poor penguins jus look absurd out there. Tryin fly on crazy waves. Mad respect to the lil flappers.
Still holding on in this fast changing times!
I watch alot of animal documentaries but NG always has the best, thank you
Hello Diane, how are you?
I wish more turtles survive the race from the beach to the water🐢
Yo they legit turned this into an action survivor movie 😆 I love it!!!!
32:43 "Some males never find a mate". I decided to watch something amusing to get away from being left-out and the scary thoughts of ending up alone and here we are :D
Along with the effects of global warming, we have lost forever the ability to watch a documentary that does NOT involve cement truck size loads of guilt. I miss the days, in the 60s, when you could just learn about nature without the depressing, overywhelming sense of dread and doom, confusion and hopelessness, terror and fear that is seemingly mandatory in every nature documentary from everywhere of late.
Maybe the dread and the doom were there in the 60's but we just didn't see.
Human activity has no permanent affect on the world or its environments. We will likely destroy ourselves before we ever have an opportunity to destroy the earth. You're guilt tripping yourself. You'll find out one day that you were never the bully after all, when she decides to take back what's hers.
Yes, I agree with you. The personal experiences I have had with the oceans, make me feel part of them-I would sincerely like to just live there, in it, the ancient call of our ancestors, I guess. But the warm fuzzy feeling I get watching these beautiful documentaries always comes with a dose of reality, rightly so I'm afraid. Hang in there, enjoy the beauty, act locally- to protect what you can, and think globally, to unite us in this effort. We need to know the bad so we can save the good. I too miss the sixties.
