Thought that Ark's bars was never going to end. Even after all the added time Soul still took it for me, loved the Shawshank and River Phoenix/Phillip Seymour Hoffman bars.
Soul won. Got bored listening to Ark shout for 15 minutes.

Soul is one of the best out there... but actually gave this to Arkaic!
His directness and energy went hand in hand with the content of his bars. The "Punchlines vs Bars // rapping vs battling" ideas, plus he had some nice schemes and structure. Soul did his usual which was excellent, but not enough.
Tony D vs Soul for the next title match, surely?

I'm a big fan of Soul & Ark, so there's no biased opinions, Ark would've took this for me.
He went in on Soul's life, dismantled his style and made it very convincing.
Sure he rapped for longer but even if you snipped his rounds to the same length, I'm sure you will rack up more hits per minute than Soul's.

Why so much hate for Ark. Hes easily top 3 in the league. Did take the piss with time limits on this one. But even if he didnt, its close, could be called 2-1 either way. But I edge it just to Soul.

You can't even speculate when someone goes that long, it was basically arks 6 rounds vs souls 3. With that much extra time if you don't demolish, you've lost.

Cruger, Soul, Psychosis, Eurgh, Tony D, Ogmios all definitely better for me. He's good when he's on his a game but not top 3.
jimmyhayers Half the people you mentioned are not currently battling. This aint me trolling but if were gonna pull people outta retirement Soul Khan will murk all of the above. Plus Eurgh has had one decent solo battle, was ok against Illmac. But, Loe pesci kanye west line hit the nail on the head for me.
MonstrousChamp Yeah Soul Khan is awesome. Just felt it was relevant to mention some of those other battlers given that they are Ark's contemporaries. Eurgh was good against Kid Twist, PH and DNA as well. Soul Khan vs Cruger would have been a great battle, both come up with great angles and for me Cruger is a far better rapper and lyricist than Sensa who Khan battled on DF.Think on his day Crugs could have beaten most, he can take the piss out of rappers in a schoolboy way yet it doesn't seem silly cos he adds enough wit to it. Proper boyed Conceited who, to be fair, wasn't at his very best but I don't think it would have mattered. Think it's a shame Kid Twist hasn't battled for a while he was ace haha.

Great battle. I think thats the best Ark I've seen. Didn't seem fair he got 6 minute rounds though. Could have gone 2-1 either way, both killed it!

Soul is so intelligent the reason people think he lost is they don't understand him due to his intelligence and ark is generic.
I'm not hatin' on Ark for spitting for a long time as it was pretty sick but when one MC spits for way longer than the other it kinda feels wrong.

Soul has some dope bars and concepts, and some great references too, but his flow is far too simplistic to rock with the top cats in the US. Hopefully he can figure out to flow more complex, because he could be a beast if he could take it to the next level.
Soul showed his talent because he spat for less time but still made it debatable just like Shotty vs Arsenal. Ark won but maybe its because of the time he spat for cus bar for bar Soul is one of the best

Each of these rounds I'd give to Ark... in spite of this, Soul did manage a formidable performance.
Arkaic managed to manufacture bars on the same technical standard that Soul did (and in a number of cases he did better), but more importantly, he anticipated the strategies and approaches Soul was likely to come with best. He catered his performance accordingly.
He allowed his experience to shine through in all areas of his performance, particularly in personality and delivery.
Undisputable in my perspective. Arkaic in 3, Very entertaining.

Yo Soul's third round was crazy. He was spazzing out. Maybe his abrupt change in delivery was fueled by the broken time limits. His bars were off the chain. Soul 2-1 but debatable according to an individuals preference.
