Holy, Subaru's understanding or deductive reasoning of what Ame is saying is so good, I'm super impressed
In these like this, you can tell that Subaru's english skills are really good.
yeah ...she can even understand when EN girls use normal speed
may have some mistake but still get the main point
English Jouzu right there XD
@@Bunniest The progress of years of practice!
shes as the level where she understands what have been said 70-80% of the time. but not fluent to speak it. its admirable really her bein practicing for almost past 2 years was fruitful and hope she sees that. cuz mostly people only speak 1 language im looking at you NA
Yeah Subaru is comfortably ranked number 3 out the Jp girls now for English skills. She’s really improved.
Only Lui and Haachama have her beat.
Proud of Ame to jump into the deep end by being on her own with two Japanese speaking members. On the other end, she has two of the most sweet and supportive JP members with her. This whole stream was a cleansing for the soul to watch.
We are all amazed by Subaru, but can we talk about Amelia too, doing this is huge. I'm very proud of her
elite miko must be jealous of this blonde collab that subaru doin here 🗿
"It should have been meeee" - Miko, probably
@@hikkun_ch That's what many people would think
Miko tends to be with Suisei anyways
i wish roboco here too, she likes ame.
@@momogi618 I am still hoping for an off Collab between them! May be possible
Proud of Shuba here, her English is improved now even can translate to jp quite well.
With more practice, one day she might on Par with Lui-nee In terms of English speaking
At 3:00 Ame says “chat they’re holding me at gunpoint”, not “scary to handle”.
Mel probably made finger guns at her, pretending to force her to say that it’s good
Wow, Subaru sure has good comprehension of English
Subaru and mel were good senpai
Rare glimpse of genius Subaru interpreting for ame
They should also invite Miko so we can hear her Elite English or Haachama Aussie English 😹😹😹😹
Mel repeating what Subaru said was so cute
Subaru's english comprehension is so good
As a fellow american, I was skeptical about tamagokake when I visited Japan too. Indeed that it's one of the delicious things I had. And I don't even like eggs all that much
3:00 - "The joke is they're holding me at gun point"
Health reminder: there a huge difference between japanese egg vs any other country egg. so be careful of salmonella when trying TKG using your local egg
Well? What's the difference? Explain what makes Japanese eggs so different.
@@BeyondDaX It's less the eggs themselves and more that they've developed a high-tech solution for checking them individually via using spectroscopic analysis before putting the eggs on store shelves. It's not foolproof, but catches most eggs which contain salmonella, to the point where raw egg usage is widespread in the country.
@@BeyondDaX basically japanese eggs are pasteurized to kill the bacteria inside
Not really this is really something that is drummed up largely due to past health paranoias that largely don't apply anymore (and arguably didn't when they were being pushed)
Statistically you'd have to eat a raw egg everyday for like 50 years straight to have even a chance of coming across a single contaminated egg, and that with the US's older statistics and practices from like the late 2000's. With newer regulation and technology is isn't much behind JP.
Now you should still be checking eggs for cracks they've gotten due to being mishandled, generally by grocery store and shipping employees, but nearly all american eggs are pasturized, and ALL sold at grocery stores will have been tested.
If there's any mass produced products you shouldn't eat raw, it's flour.
@@NanoAugur don't forget checking the egg laying chickens and vaccinating them against it.
i'm glad some of these are getting translated. I watched this live and i thought their mics were too low.
Gudetama ending.
i want to point something out
amelia didnt actually eat TKG
they are eating nabe, or hotpot. and something common that people do is take the meat that has just been cooked from the hotpot and dip it in raw egg. the residual heat slightly cooks the egg which makes for a nice extra flavor
1:37 subaru said she wanted to see ame try TKG as you have subbed
0:58 here she asks if its ok to put raw egg on rice but its really unclear whether she did or not. but even if she did it was probably only a bit and it still wouldnt count as TKG
honestly this whole conversation is very confusing which i guess is what normally happens when two parties arent fluent in the others languages
Ame did said in her Twitter that she taste a raw egg (which lingers). So, at least she does eat a raw egg.
Of course, I am also aware that while she said raw egg, it must have bee cooked slightly by the heat of the food.
Yeah, I think they got a little lost at the egg being some sort of sauce. But hey, I applaud them for trying at least! Building relationships with each other even with limited language, is rather wholesome.
Amelia and Subaru had a bit of an exchange on twitter about it where Subaru teaser her. At the very least she definitely had raw egg if not TKG.
Wish they had a hand cam set up so we could see what they’re doing
Woah i got amazed by Subaru's english. And Mel try to learn too, great. Have fun all of you
Raw egg is more than just preference -- america handles the cleaning of their commercial-ready eggs very differently than places like England and VERY differently from Japan. Our chickens are also kept in more lax sanitary conditions. Our raw eggs basically can be assumed to have salmonella in them. The raw egg ame is talking about is pasteurized eggs (hopefully), which are eggs that have essentially been partially cooked
Nah, even in the US the odds are extremely low if you buy any big brand grocery store eggs, and only slightly higher if you buy home grown/family farm eggs.
Gosh those are some cute Ame giggles.
As egg dish lover
I really want to taste japanese egg
Its look soo good
Don't try it at home if you are not sure of the quality of your eggs. Even when the egg is "cooked" because of the hot rice, there's still the risk of salmonella infection.
Japanese's egg industry is top quality and follow a very strict sanitary standards, so the probability to get ill of salmonellosis is nearly zero.
Same thing in Sweden and other EU countries but yeah - better check how your country deals with salmonella before trying.
If you ARE going to take the risk. Definitely be sure to rinse your egg in hot water IMMEDIATELY before cracking it. It won't get rid of all the bacteria, but you're dramatically reducing the amount that might transfer from the exterior, where a majority of it lives.
I remember learning that you can sous vide an egg so it’ll be cooked, but keep the same consistency of a raw egg. People doing this to safely have “raw” egg on rice and whatnot.
@@Animemus Yeah it's called pasteurization, over here some restaurants use pasteurized eggs to make their Mayo and avoid health issues even though they are relatively safe to eat raw.
Use steaming hot rice fresh out of the cooker. Its hot enough to kill salmonella.
These adorable blondes are even better with Subaru included!
They got a lil lost on the egg sauce part lol
Tamago kake gohan is so easy to make and delicious. I need to get some furikake and make some for dinner 🤤
Japanese food probably taste very good not gonna lie
its a hit or miss if I have to say. either u like it or just straight hate it.
@@faiznordin9343 so just like any other cuisine? I feel like that’s like everywhere else when we’re speaking from the perspective of a foreigner.
Japanese and asian food in general focus of fragrant flavours.
@@Eclin that's also true. but you need more acquired taste for japan food. unlike indian food or mexican food that almost all people around the world actually enjoy it.
Depends, someone like me that dislike seafood really don't enjoy a large part of Japanese cuisine. The raw stuff is really not my thing either.
I guess mayonnaise is egg sauce.
Gura chopstick :)
Everywhere i see AMESAME let's goooo
i cant imagine how raw egg taste. i have eaten half boiled egg, but never raw.
Nice shuba inglis👍
who the heck in america drinks raw egg? I live here but everyone I know is too deathly afraid of salmonella poisoning to even attempt.
We already got ID meeting JP members then EN members
I hope we will get ID , JP and EN members offcollab soon in the osen time
Imagine the chaos lol
holy shot subaru many english
Here comes false info and paranoia about the safety of american eggs into the comments
isn't egg sauce just mayoneese at the end?
isn't mayonnaise basically just greasy egg sauce?
She meant the soy sauce to eat with egg
Mayonnaise is just cold Hollandaise.
Mayonnaise is more of oil sauce rather than egg sauce.
lol
Its not rice on raw egg lmao its raw egg on rice
