I just made this! so easy! I used macrame cord and a Pandora style bead and put it on more macrame cord with an adjustable knot to make a pendent! Thanks for an easy tutorial!
this worked out great~! I used both leather and....wire~! I did however use jump rings or made my own ear wires it seems to balance the look of the heavy leather
kagosavampire Yes, you will need a large hole bead. I have a pile of great grey glazed ceramic 0,8 mm beads lying around. I'm pretty sure their holes are big enough to hold the leather cord. This project is awesome!

A really good idea to finish the Pipa Knot with a bead! Otherwise it is difficult to know what to do with the ends.

with the pipe knott i see you just clip it off at the back, dont you risk the bead falling out from knot??
