A nice bit of exploration. I've done the main hill here and Mynydd Twyn Glas trigpoint. I used to live in Abercarn so have explored some parts of the other hills and have done all the surrounding hills as well. Must admit I didn't recognise the places you walked, looked like some long-forgotten and well hidden areas.
Hi thanks for watching and comment, the forest is Rhyswg-ganol, it doesn't have much signs of activity (people wise) I saw the pond on the os map and decided I was going to find hot, and I'm glad I did, it was so peaceful in the clearing . Ive recently walked to Blaen Bran , next time I'll go the extra distance to Mynydd Twyn Glas. I got onto Mynydd Maen from the Cwmcarn side. Cheers Gabby
