In regards to the intro, I would go so far as to say that because of changes to the scripting language, Roblox has absolutely NOT done as much for backwards compatibility as they should. I've always found this direct spitting in the face of preservation to be pretty annoying actually. A lot of games made before a certain point just don't work anymore, and a lot of old gear doesn't either. There is a reason such a community has formed around archiving and playing old versions
The best way they could handle that would be to have archived refined older clients that users would be required to download in order to play those games, instead of one main frequently updated one. Knowing their behavior, if Roblox had to maintain every portion of legacy systems that are almost old enough to legally drink on one main client, it probably would've ended up like Microsoft Windows (a.k.a sloppy and weird)

Not that I know how easy that would be but any effort at all would've gone a long way
The issue with this is that developers then and now can backup the client and version(s) of their games. That was an option for creators to do in-case of game breaking updates like filtering enabled or the audio update. Especially for filtering enabled, I can’t blame Roblox for not wanting to keep tabs on older versions on different clients. It’s the responsibility of creators to insure their games are always up to date to comply with the websites current rules and version. It’s like, I wouldn’t be mad at Microsoft or PlayStation because their most recent consoles can’t run PS2/Original Xbox games.
As someone who joined and played through 2012-2015 I was expecting to see more removed features around that time more mentioned in this video, like player points and the leaderboard on the game page, green click to move, personal servers, happy home place, the old terrain system, stamper tool, "play the game with the stamper tool or not", best friend feature, comments being on games and like its 45 minute interval, etc. Eh I guess some of them can't be discussed that long but I didn't expect most of the features in this video to be like prehistoric.
How about Voxel Terrain? Basically a worse version of terrain that many amateur Roblox places used. Got converted to modern terrain in 2017 and then games that used it had their terrain deleted later in like 2022.
Roblox in general during that terrain's lifespan had very weird artistic direction back then. Reminded me of action-figure packaging or the liminal-looking backgrounds on a LEGO set.

I feel like they made a big mistake removing TIX, as i always found them to be really cool addition to the platform, although TIX returned for The Classics Event, it really didn't feel the same at all Mostly cause i felt like it removed the reason to keep playing/logging in daily and keep others invested its a shame for everyone who played on this platform years ago just to see TIX gone With guests, i got to experience what roblox is like without the need of logging in, i found that to be an awesome introduction to those who are new to Roblox but don't want to make an account (Atleast not yet) so you don't end up making an account only to not be on it as much or deal with any potential problem that may happen when out and about with account active Basically these should've stayed in the game because how loved these features were back in the day, Not sure how others will think about it being back when it ever does happen (Which doesn't seem likely...) but i personally hope they do some day

Something strange I only recently learned is Roblox actually removed studs from Roblox Studio. You need an extension to use them now. It's insane that one of Roblox's former core features is just no longer officially supported.
That's the classic baseplate. The normal modern baseplate does not have studs. Also I think you can still use studs (surface) along with inlets, welds, etc. (I think, I don't use studio.)
i think for a while (since 2021-ish) you were no longer able to access the surface painter through the top ribbon, but as long as you either find any part with a surface via the toolbox, or just copy the baseplate (you would have to use the classic version obviously) then you don't need any extensions or whatever. this is because any part with studs (or any other surface) will have a "surface" property in the properties where you can change them all you want for each face, but setting all faces to "smooth" will remove the property. this is what i remember, correct me if i'm wrong
This is incorrect. If a Script inserts a Part, it'll have Studs on the top and Inlets on the bottom. The Surfaces can still be changed manually as well.

As someone who owned the Rubyhorde Chest, I can contribute some knowledge on how it worked. - It was actually proximity based by a certain stud count (probably 10 or less studs) rather than the coins it dropped. - The gear would forcibly take whatever gear was held by a player along with the entire line of their bar. If you didn't have any gear there, it would pull from your backpack. - You didn't get the gear in your backpack, it was just deleted. The other player could get their gear back if they reset. - Since the cooldown on using the gear was so small (5 seconds-ish) you could spam it and cause weird things to happen. Sometimes, the scripts for it wouldn't work correctly and the gears that were pulled from someones inventory would spin in a vortex from where you triggered the chest. They had collision oddly enough and would stay there for the rest of whatever game you were playing. If you moved any of the spinning gears, they would return back to vortex no matter how far. - The chest would cause massive lag to users with lots of gears. I actually used this gear against Clonetrooper1019 (MaximumADHD now) during a time he was playing with his fans in a gear game he owned. He told me to stop because I was "lagging his PC," everytime I used the chest on him. - There was apparently a nerf at a later date where only toolbar gears would be taken only. This didn't really make a difference at all as you could still spawn camp players and steal their gear. - This gear is no longer working as intended which I'm assuming was because of the Filtering Enabled update. Now you can only shake it and coins will come out. As you can't take anyones gears anymore, there are no cheers. This gear isn't any different then a social category gear now.

If Roblox ever decides to bring in the face builder in this day and age with the update to place accessories to where you want, I can see it being made to where you choose from the faces you already have to make your own unique face and having to buy the very old faces from 2007 to 2010 in order to use those faces.

As someone who owned the Rubyhorde Chest, I can contribute some knowledge on how it worked.
- It was actually proximity based by a certain stud count (probably 10 or less studs) rather than the coins it dropped.
- The gear would forcibly take whatever gear was held by a player along with the entire line of their bar. If you didn't have any gear there, it would pull from your backpack.
- You didn't get the gear in your backpack, it was just deleted. The other player could get their gear back if they reset.
- Since the cooldown on using the gear was so small (5 seconds-ish) you could spam it and cause weird things to happen. Sometimes, the scripts for it wouldn't work correctly and the gears that were pulled from someones inventory would spin in a vortex from where you triggered the chest. They had collision oddly enough and would stay there for the rest of whatever game you were playing. If you moved any of the spinning gears, they would return back to vortex no matter how far.
- The chest would cause massive lag to users with lots of gears. I actually used this gear against Clonetrooper1019 (MaximumADHD now) during a time he was playing with his fans in a gear game he owned. He told me to stop because I was "lagging his PC," everytime I used the chest on him.
- There was apparently a nerf at a later date where only toolbar gears would be taken only. This didn't really make a difference at all as you could still spawn camp players and steal their gear.
- This gear is no longer working as intended which I'm assuming was because of the Filtering Enabled update. Now you can only shake it and coins will come out. As you can't take anyones gears anymore, there are no cheers. This gear isn't any different then a social category gear now.

I remember a long time ago in the setting tab there was a saturation setting that if max it out, would turn everything neon, I forgot what it was called but it was funny to turn it on
Just a thought about the rapacious chest that steals gear coming out around the same time as the 13+ guns, maybe there was some kind of interaction between the gear and being able to steal those 13+ guns through this gear itself, making it essentially bypass the 13+ rule, which is why it would have to be a 13+ item itself.

If Roblox ever decides to bring in the face builder in this day and age with the update to place accessories to where you want, I can see it being made to where you choose from the faces you already have to make your own unique face and having to buy the very old faces from 2007 to 2010 in order to use those faces.
