I've never had it stain my hair before. It's only a temporary colour deposit so if you don't use it, it just washes out. It's smells great and leaves my hair super soft. It does work better the lighter your hair is though. Also, I've never had it dye my skin either. I have no complaints about it, it's a great product.

You can get a more intense color by applying to dry hair. And, of course, the more applications the more color you get.
