His Royal Majesty, Ewuare the Second, Oba of Benin has announced the reintroduction of the ancient Benin fasting and prayers to stamp out evil, shedding of blood, kidnapping, banditry, cultism and other crimes in the state.
The Oba of Benin made the announcement during the Ugie Emoro festival also known as the new yam festival held in his palace in Benin City.

If i remember my Edo (Bini) language correctly, that should be Ugie EMORHO. Our young ones have difficulty with Edo double consonants like 'RH'. It is RH in the example above, not 'R.'
