  • A carp fishing bait classic, the boilie. This quick and simple bait recipe will have you cranking out your own baits in no time. Made from supermarket ingredients, anyone can make these for very little money.
    Boilies have proven to be extremely effective in catching carp and other fresh water species like catfish. A lot of commercial versions contain artificial flavorings, but it only makes sense to use the real deal "ripe bananas" for creating a vitamin rich and high protein bait.
    Tweak or implement your existing bait today to truly create something unique to you! There is nothing better than out-fishing a lake or river on your own secret bait blend.

    This is different because I normally add semolina. These are more like bread ball boilies, cool!

    How do you make balls if you don't have the fancy black shaker thing?

    • @curlytailfishing
      @curlytailfishing  Před 2 lety +2

      There's no problem with hand rolling them into little snakes and then with a knife cutting them into little uniform chunks. Roll them into little balls with your hands. This will save you lots of time when you're fishing for carp from your boat or on the banks. The reason I use the boilie roller is because I have a baiting stick. It is basically a thin piece of tubing that has a slight curve at the end. You load it with a boilie and lob it forward and the boilie shoots out the end. This is great for fishing from the banks but DOES NOT work if the shapes of the boilies aren't uniform. The carp could care less what shape the food is in but that's why I shape them in little round balls. Prior to getting the table though, I rolled them by hand.

      Maybe like 30 seconds-ish. Trick is to watch them and they will eventually pop off of the bottom when they’re ready and float.

      You need to boil them it's the only way to do it thats why they are called boiles.

      Yeah dude, are they filled with amino acids, protein powder, vitamins, and minerals, no. Can they catch fish, yes! Is it cheap? Yes, not the point of the video but thanks. Anyone can make boiled dough baits is the point, lakes are massive where I live here in Texas, they are full of carp, big ones… can I afford massive amounts of European boilies imported at premium pricing, no. Can I make a ton of boiled baits from home fairly quickly to prebait a swim? Yes! Think you missed the point 😂

      @@curlytailfishing Totaly agree with you dude, I'm from Romania and I never understand how the hack people can spend 8-12 euro/kilo boilies, considering that in a 24 h session you usually bait with 2-3 kilos of boilies, so about 25-30 euros/ day only for baiting , plus the lake tax (about 12-20 euro/12 hours), plus the gasoline, beers, grills bbqs and so on. I still go fishing in these conditions, but at least I cut the costs of the baits cause I learned to produce my own baits, pellets, boilies with basic and common ingrediens from supermarket and some chicken, pigs food supplies bought from the farmers shops. Cheers dude, keep it on!
