I saw this ad come up on my fb or Instagram just before I moved in December. I tried counting all the windows of the house we were moving to and was off a few but ordered the Kwik-Hangs and love them. They are very sturdy, look really nice and so easy to put up that I did them myself (and I’m disabled and can hardly walk). Actually it was harder to get on the little ladder than it was to put the Kwik-hang’s up. It’s easy peasy!

Neat for utilitarian uses like small windows. But for most purposes I like to hang the brackets a few inches above and outside of the window frame. Aside from looking nice, it makes it easier to open the curtains fully without needing to use tie backs.

      A) looks bad. Aesthetic wise, a wider and higher mounting position (beyond the trim) looks much better for curtains or inside the frame for blinds,
      B) will ruin your trim. The miter will show, the board can easily crack on amateur installer pounding the top of a wooden piece of trim, and can tear MDF.
      C) not a lot of profit/vague IP. Brackets are really easy to make, and you can attach quite a few ‘normal’ style brackets like this with nothing more than a few fasteners and some ingenuity if you really wanted.
