I have both, didn't watch this video yet but im about to. My JRLs are for bulk and clipper over comb, ergo are for fine work, fading, tapering. Love this setup

Even though the ergo is only 120 min vs 4 hours of the JRL fresh fade 2020c it does bring a charging dock and that’s like never running out of juice !!! ...

I’ve had all three. For me it’s this,
JRL>Babyliss>Ergo.
I will say Ergo is the most comfortable and ergonomic of the three though. JRL is the quietest of the 3

Stylecraft rebels. It’s a perfect all round clipper. Clean fades (require a lil more skill, you’ll get the hang of it quickly) and incredible for bulk and big chops

The ergo comes with the charging doc but does it also come with a charging cord so you could plug them in and charge them while cutting hair?
Yes, you can still cut while having it plugged in.

@DaveChops bro they better by a lot the JRL feels very premium absolutely chops through 5-8 inches of hair like butter 🔥 it’s worth buying it ! You can get it at JRL.com it takes about a months to get to your destination if no earlier !!
JRL is working on a charging dock for the 2020c and 2020T
They actually just dropped. I have one on the way! I like that it’s just one dock that can fit both.

I would go with the JRL. The Gammas are cool but seem to bog down at times

Do either clipper fixed blades get hot to the touch or stay cool? Thanks for your review.
I never ran into a problem with the blades heating up at all. The Ergo, when I first got them seem to be hot around the base but nothing crazy.
JRLs self sharpening and made to stay cooler, cut several heads in a row blade never warmed up.

Pretty much. Only difference I can tell is just the build. But everything else is pretty much the same

Edit. What are your thoughts on the magic clips? I live in Canada. And getting the gamma ergo or jrl is gonna be about 220 to 260 Canadian. I can grab the magic clips for 120 here. And most barber supply places have parts easily. My question is, are the magic clips still relevant in 2020?
I Love The Magic Clips. I use them as well. They are for sure still relevant, in my opinion anyway. With that price difference they are worth the buy.

Yes, no problem with mine as of yet. Used predominantly on coarse and curly hair.
