Yeah it's not, but it kinda makes sense. They get taxed for their cashed money and where the taxes go? Into the war. And it's also sad that some Ukrainian players lost their home or even died and can't play it too.

Some of them can't compete because of Russia invading their country. And lastly it was an INVITATIONAL event so they decide who will compete there or not. I think the main reason is that they didn't want to support the war through taxes from what players would earn. Also, it would look bad for them that they invited Russians. Also, some of the countries have banned Russians from entering.

I was rooting for pixie and cheetinn in last chance.. heartbreaking for putrick and swizzy. It's because the rules werent clear. It only said they cant play in restricted regions. And they did play in Belarus i think. They should give them their earnings. Imagine uprooting your life and moving to another country just to be able to play and u get one email saying ur disqualified. Blast doesnt even have the decency to call them and explain.
that's precisely why politics should be kept separate from (e)sports competitions. It is unfair to exclude someone who rightfully earned their place based on their skills and abilities, especially considering their ethnicity (Russian), even during politically challenging times. Such actions go against the values we should uphold in the representation of sportsmanship.
